Everything is clean and well laid out. There is a friendly receptionist at the entrance, coffee & cappuccino available, and of course, lots of classrooms for computer training sessions. Ms. Kacey Roberts is an exceptional instructor with over 20 years of experience and knowledge in the field of radiology. I also have to give a shout out to Mr. Mike and Mrs Kristen for being great teachers and always showing up on time and ready to help with whatever we needed. The environment on campus is welcoming, and the faculty will be there to greet you with a smile and say hello. From Adding assignments to throwing out homework. I have never experienced any type of teaching like that. Plus this school pushes you to take out student loans, even when you want Pell Grant and payments of the remaining balance. They were once known as Medvence, and now Fortis. In my opinion, it's a scam. I even talked to some of their Graduates, who even told me that Fortis did not help them with finding a job, or reference from them really meant nothing to employers.

ITI Technical College was one of the worst choices I have ever made…read more Having studied in the drafting and design department, here is what I have noticed: 1, the teachers have a lack of care reguarding their students. They don't care to teach you, nor help you with the exception of one or two. 2, the teachers, again with the exception of one or two, are very biased, most are racist, and very rude. 3, the head of the drafting department doesn't even have a degree, nor is he present in the evening classes most of the time. If he is teaching a class, multiple people have stated he just leaves early and let's them work by themselves with no help. 4, the facilities are terrible, wires are exposed and ran everywhere so people can trip over them, the bathrooms are not taken care of, the air conditioners may work on occasion, and the floors are always disgusting. 5, the dean of education has a lack of care when it comes to staff complaints; for example: teachers hazing students, insulting them, deleting files from students cloud, etc. She ignores it and goes about her day. 6, the cost of the school absolutely is not worth the quality of teaching and resources you receive. 7, the student surveys each term. Nobody reads them nor do they care. No action has ever been taken on a single student survey. So all in all, definently would never recommend going to this school. Absolute waste of money, and two years of my life.

Burk is an AMAZING teacher who genuinely cares about each of his students learning and passing. I struggle in a class setting because I am pretty sure I have ADD. But I struggle even more with online classes so I knew I needed the class setting. Burk teaches in a way that is very engaging. He has a very calculated way of teaching designed to give you mental breaks (telling stories, cracking jokes,) which prevents you from just feeling overwhelmed and spacing out. I really enjoyed his classes. He offers a two week course Mon-Fri 9a-1pm monthly. You can sit through it Again for free for up to 3 months. I sat through it twice because both of my boys got sick and derailed my study time. I was thankful for the opportunity to attend twice. In addition to learning the ins & outs of Louisiana and National Real Estate, he had professionals sit in to show us a mock closing, and talk about home inspections. He also offers night classes. Not only does he offer Baton Rouge classes but also Lafayette, Lake Charles, Mandeville, Monroe, and Metairie. I came for Louisiana Real Estate but he offers many courses including Mississippi Real Estate, Mortgage Origination, Home Inspection, Residential Appraiser, Insurance, Auctioneering, and Louisiana Broker. His wife Lisa teaches the math portions and she's wonderful, she also offers a math tutoring class monthly. I can't wait to pass my test and get my License! Thanks to Burk I'm convinced this will happen sooner than later. When you arrive, pass the building take the first right and park in the lot BEHIND the building (behind comic store.) He also has a computer lab available to all students to use all day during the week. This was extremely helpful for studying. Thanks Burk!
