The kids had to eat lunch in the classroom for several months now and have us to do indoor recess to keep them safe and away from the construction activities. We are hoping that in a couple of weeks the construction will finally be complete and our kids can go back to norma with outdoor recess, lunch in the cafeteria, and access to their school library. It's all very exciting, but disappointed that they weren't completely ready for the students and had to open the school basically half done. On a positive note, the administration staff are very friendly and helpful and we have an enjoyable experience each time we've had to check out our kids for appointments. Our kids teachers' are equally awesome as well.

I really like Children's Paradise. They aren't just a daycare, but also a school. They have them…read morepractice their name, drawing lines, learning the alphabet, counting, and much more. They even have an accredited preschool class. My daughter went there and was absolutely ready for kindergarten. She was blending sounds together while in their Pre-K class. She was reading before I knew it. Infant rooms and one year old rooms you get a paper explaining their day, bottles, naps, etc. Two year olds and up bring home daily folders with their behavior charts and classwork. The director and employees communicate very well with the parents by use of folders, phone call, or in person. There is always a smiling person at the door to greet you. Signing in and out your child is secure. The doors are always locked. I have personally sent both of my children to them. I would recommend them to anyone looking for loving care and good education for their child.

This year I found mold in my milk and some weird gelatin stuff in my apple juice. There were batteries in my mashed potatoes and hair in my shrimp poppers. The bread is always stiff. In Livingston parish elementary schools, the pizzas are the size of the plate, but here us teenagers only get one small slice of papa johns pizza. In 6th grade they'd give the 8th graders two slices but now we get one. Disappointing and they are starving children.
