I really like Children's Paradise. They aren't just a daycare, but also a school. They have them practice their name, drawing lines, learning the alphabet, counting, and much more. They even have an accredited preschool class. My daughter went there and was absolutely ready for kindergarten. She was blending sounds together while in their Pre-K class. She was reading before I knew it. Infant rooms and one year old rooms you get a paper explaining their day, bottles, naps, etc. Two year olds and up bring home daily folders with their behavior charts and classwork. The director and employees communicate very well with the parents by use of folders, phone call, or in person. There is always a smiling person at the door to greet you. Signing in and out your child is secure. The doors are always locked. I have personally sent both of my children to them. I would recommend them to anyone looking for loving care and good education for their child. read more

My Grandson has attended this daycare/pre-school for 3 years. He has learned so very much! Entry into the facility is secure and requires fingerprinting to check student out. We feel safe with Daniel in charge. He always has breakfast and snacks. Carmen and Ms Dee are outstanding. read more

So I went here for 2 full school years (when I was in 4th and 5th grade) and I absolutely HATED this place!! It might have been because I was one of the older kids and obviously daycare/aftercare isn't as fun when you get older, but I THINK it's because of the HORRIBLE staff!! They always came up with the dumbest rules, such as "no swinging high in the swings outside" and "you can't eat your snack until you do all of your homework" Like what if some parents want to personally help their kids with their homework at home?! And sometimes, if they thought you were lying, they would GO THROUGH OUR BACKPACKS, taking all of our stuff out!! Also, THEY WOULD RARELY LET US TALL FREELY, saying things like " guys I have a headache, if y'all don't be quiet I will turn the movie off and make us sit in silence!" Like wtf?! Kids should be allowed to talk with their friends!! It's daycare, it's supposed to be FUN. Also, they were putting 12 YEAR OLDS IN THE SAME CLASSROOM AS 5 YEAR OLDS!!! Which meant that 12 year olds had to follow the same rules of a 5 YEAR OLD!! I remember ABSOLUTELY DREADING coming here every day! DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!! read more

I want to start off with saying, the teachers are excellent! I fully trust them with my kids and they are wonderful women. This isn't the same case for management however. Their policy they have you sign while enrolling tells you that they will close with Livingston Parish school closings; for bad weather and holidays. For example, last week, the schools closed all week due to ice/weather conditions. While other day cares in the area only closed on Wednesday. No problem, we found alternate childcare since we still had to work. I thought they would consider crediting people's accounts since we are paying nearly $300 per week for 2 kids to come. But they would not. I'm very disappointed in their business ethics. We've missed a good bit of work due to this policy of theirs, but if you have an understanding employer, this won't be a problem for you. read more

I've read many bad reviews about this place and thank God I didn't listen to them. When I get there she is so happy and can not wait to get to daycare in the mornings. I've read bad reviews about the security there, but my husband went to pick up my daughter 3 times and all 3 times he was asked for ID (since I usually pick her up) Also they have now put a keypad on the door. So you need a code to get in. They do crafts and have holiday parties. The teachers sing many songs and teach the children many things. I didn't give 5 stars because it does seem like they watch a good amount of TV but I am not a daycare worker nor have I been there all day with them so I don't know for sure. read more
