*If you can't handle criticism from concerned parents as a director and you feel like you have to…read moredelete the honest review of this unprofessional daycare you run, maybe you need to find another profession, not a director of the childcare center* I'm writing this to let y'all know about this daycare. My kid goes to daycare there and is in the infant/toddler class. It's only been 8 and a half weeks since my kid started. I chose this daycare because it was closer to home, cheaper and people seemed nice. I learned that just because someone is nice and sweet doesn't mean they're good at doing their job. I started noticing little things because I give my kid a bath every single night and assess for new scars or marks. I've noticed numerous unexplained scratches and bruises on abnormal spots for kids in her age to get on her body (I'm a senior nursing school student who work and is wanting to specialize in OB and pediatrics) and every kids' dirty socks in her class just walking around the inside where they eat, sleep and play. So I pointed out the concerns I had about my childcare to Shari. When confronting to Shari with my issues in a respectful, reasonable manner (I got an advice about how I should approach the daycare with my issue from my friend's family who used to own a daycare before they retired to avoid offending them), all she did was making excuses and completely disregarding my concerns, which I lost it afterwards, despite the fact that I made it clear in writing that I'm not accusing anyone of doing the intentional use but just wishing that people there would pay more attention to kids to prevent further injuries. Kids can fall and hurt themselves all the time. I completely get it. But that's why adults are there to supervise which is what I'm paying them for. Their main job is to ensure kids' safety and to prevent the kids from hurting themselves or each other (kids don't know better in that age) which they continued to fail in doing their job. When I look at their webcam (which I always always do throughout the day), I've seen the employees there looking at their phones (sometimes over 20 minutes straight). Shari said she was the sub for that one day because I only provided her with the pictures of that one day but Ive seen them doing this multiple times. I genuinely have no intention to lie or exaggerate. Quite frankly, it doesn't matter how many times they did. I'm not paying them to look at their phone instead of watching my kid to ensure their safety and to prevent them from getting injured. Most people understand my frustration and concern when my kid comes home with all these marks and incident reports and people are paying attention to their phones instead of watching the kids except Shari. I don't know if she did so to cover her liability but I was shocked how unprofessional and insensitive the director's response was. I wanted to quit right away but I ended up notifying Shari that my kid will be quitting there in 2 weeks just like the handbook rule said and I just got a call from Shari at 7pm in the evening time out of no where and she told me today was the last day for my kid and her stuff will be out in front of the daycare tomorrow for me to pick up. In the student handbook, the only way to get immediate dis-enrollment is if my kid or a family member of a kid shows extreme behavior. Does that really make me a ridiculous parent with an extreme behavior If I had problems with my kid coming home with at least 6 incident reports within that 8 and a half week period of time along with numerous unexplained bruises and scratches? I thought you should be aware of this unprofessional, insensitive behavior that Shari, the director of this daycare, displayed. Don't complain about anything even if your kid comes home with unexplained bruises and scratches because you point out the problems, she will kick you out of the daycare. Also make sure to take pictures if your kid comes home with new scratches and bruises you didn't get explanations from them.

This review reveals that she or he as it turns out (because I talked to the owner on the phone and she was 71 years old and I'm confused because she turned into a man according to the response of my review! has become a man, but don't let her deception fool you. This company in Baton Rouge is a disgrace and a complete rip-off. I would never recommend them to anyone, not even my worst enemy! They lie, steal, and have even taken items from customers-ME, and the owner is fully aware of this as SHE stated to me that they had a distinct conversation the morning of this situation regarding electronic items being taken from houses, as it seemed to be a common occurrence and concern for the owner.... remember the conversation now, owner?! They are homophobic and discriminatory towards their clients. I don't understand how they continue to operate with such practices, but unfortunately, they do. If the owner really wants to argue about my homosexuality and what happened that day, then I will see you in court because I don't have time to make up stories-essentially my sexuality! The owner can claim that they had no issues with my homosexuality, my partner, or our lifestyle, even though we had a week-long conversation about it. However, this conversation can be easily proven, and I reached out to you today to discuss it further, sir or ma'am. I tried calling you and left messages with your secretary, but you've seem to refused to return my call?! I detest horrible customer service, and many people in the area share my sentiments! P.S.
