I danced when I was younger but there are also students who are starting out as adults. The classes are challenging and the teachers are so supportive and kind, while offering helpful corrections. Our second year competing was with K2, and the growth we've seen since then has been phenomenal. I have two girls who both compete and train here, and the training they receive is truly exceptional. The studio has clear rules that create a safe, structured environment, and as a parent, I appreciate the direction and consistency. They also re-evaluate and assess students regularly to ensure they're placed in the right classes, which shows how much they care about proper development. The technique taught at K2 is simply outstanding--far beyond what I've seen elsewhere. On top of that, they offer a wide variety of classes and training options, which is a huge bonus. The instructors are extremely talented, kind, and do a great job managing both the young dancers and the parents. There are so many places you can enroll young girls for dance in West LA, but I think CCAB is a true ballet school; focusing on fundamentals and helping students who are really passionate about dance to grow! Michelle especially is an incredible business owner - she knows all of the students, all of the parents, manages two studios with two recitals twice a year and is extremely organized for all paperwork, billing, schedules, which we know isn't always the case for kid's activities.

However, I think this year they have changed ownership and unfortunately the quality of the class seems to have gone down. We signed up for a class this fall, took one class and the teacher just let the music play and danced quietly along and the girls in class didn't have much instruction. We actually ended up pulling our daughter from the class. Hopefully they're doing something to improve the situation.
