Fixed computer for the continuing problem of upgrades knocking out my drivers for Bluetooth. Couldn't get help from Dell without buying another fairly useless service agreement, as previously they would just give me a Band-Aid fix, never addressing the real problem. Took in my MacBook in in early August that was having a problem booting. Had to wait for about a week because the only one who worked on Macs was the owner Larry. After he attempted to diagnose my computer he told me it would cost $500 to recover the data on my hard drive. We negotiated a little lower price. He allegedly said he was able to get all the data from my hard drive and transferred it to his "mule" drive. He told me my hard drive was good but would have to be formatted and all the data transferred back from his "mule" drive. He claimed he did that and that the computer appeared to work. However, when he tried to boot it for the second time it would not boot! Next he tells me that the logic board was bad. I asked him to replace the logic board. He said he didn't recommend replacing the logic board and I should buy a new computer. Next he tells me that he can't put the data back on my allegedly good hard drive because his "mule" drive crashed and that he was working on it so he could put the data back on my hard drive. What happened to the data he said he put back on my drive? Beats Me! After avoiding my calls, never returning my calls and after numerous visits to his store he told me there was nothing he could do and that I should take my computer home. So I did at the end of October when I had enough of his BS excuses! I took my computer around the corner PINELLAS COMPUTERS to diagnosis it and see if there was any data that could be recovered. They told me my hard drive was bad and that the logic board was fine. IMAGINE THAT! Larry told me it was bad! Belltech managed to lose all of my data and they could care less. BOTTOM LINE...While Larry did not get paid a dollar from me because he provided no service for me except trash my data! The fact that I didn't pay him any money seems to make it OK for Larry! Well it isn't OK for me! He lost all of my data! DO NOT TAKE YOUR COMPUTER THERE FOR DIAGNOSIS BECAUSE HE HAS NO CLUE WHAT HE IS DOING AND HE WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF! read more

Larry Bell is awesome!!!!! He fixed my dying laptop until it ran like a brand new one. I am so happy! I was having trouble with my computer even booting up. I could go do a load of laundry and come back and my computer was still trying to boot up. Very frustrating! Larry initially found several different issues of why it wasn't working properly and repaired all issues. Then he kept finding more issues with my computer and I was beginning to think it wasn't fixable, and wondering if maybe I should have just tried to buy a new one, because I thought it was going to cost more money to fix it. But Larry said that he initially quoted me a price and that he would stick to that price even though he had to replace more parts in it. I was so thankful for his generosity. I love my laptop now. Horrible service and extremely unprofessional staff. My computer still isn't working properly. I was never quoted a price upon initial call to the Owner. Nor was I ever given an estimate upon drop off. Rather they held my laptop hostage for $180 which I would never have agreed to pay. They returned my laptop still broken, kept a complete backup of my personal data which they won't return, I'm out $180 for nothing. As well as the Owner, Larry yelled at me and was belligerent. Overpriced and under performing! For $180 I got conflicting diagnosis, freeware virus removal and a 'Band-Aid' fix. The problems resurfaced within a week of getting it back and no recourse due to a 14 day 'warranty'. Take your machine to Best Buy or some other reputable service provider - it'll be cheaper and more satisfactory. read more

BellTech Solutions is far above and beyond any experience I have come to know when dealing with ANYTHING COMPUTER or TECH related. Whatever you do, make sure you have a 2nd computer at home to use. Because the one you get back from them, wont ever work the same. It will be in worse shape. I have no USB use anymore since bringing to them. I should have known better when I went to pick it up and all they were concerned about was logging me on to google to give them an excellent rating before I even had a chance to get my computer home. :=( Larry I guess you don't have a money back guarantee? Oh wait, you never gave me anything in writing or a receipt. stupid me for not asking. But then again, I am the customer and you are a business.
