I wanted them to explain to me how they can justify charging me $1788.00 for sealing several small leaks which took a little over 30 minutes. It seems to me that they could not give me a good explanation. I reheard and found out that the job ranged from $375 to $700. and some as little as $150. If your have repair work only, I would inquire what the cost per hour for labor. for that job and how long it would take. I wonder how many other customers that they did the same thing of over charging. There is only one reason they have no hourly rate, so they can charge any amount.

Days later, a tech from a Corpus company found the problem almost immediately. The Schraeder valve (same as the valve in tires) was defective. Replaced the $1 part and we're good to go.

Post installation, I cannot underscore the level of service provided by the company. They went above and beyond to address our every issue that came up (not related to the install). We are the most discerning of customers with a very challenging installation. They came out multiple times at no cost to us to check out various issues (we had a contractor that covered the new condenser with plastic, left the plastic on and ran the AC - ugh!) Lastly, they just finished up installing a fresh air intake and dehumidifier, as usual great quality work! I cannot recommend Comfort Design enough as a great HVAC company to work with.
