They…read moresaid I would have a $140 service call, which I expected (not that high, but expected) however, Brinson then told me the part was still under warranty (hooray) but the labor fee for 5 minutes of work would be $225! Are you kidding me! That equates to $2,700 an hour for labor! Even with a senior discount that 30 minutes cost me a total of $367! I do not understand why the charge for labor is that high, especially since they are already charging $140 for a service fee. Plus as nice as Brinson was, I was disappointed that he left his half-empty drink outside on my trash container that I had to bring in the house, empty out and throw away. Just sayin'. I wish I could find a job that paid $2,700 an hour!

I've heard wild stories about how expensive the repair could be and I was dreading calling anyone. The fellow fixed the pipe with higher quality parts than were in the ground in the first place and made efforts to keep the housing of the meter off the pipes themselves. All said and done I was ecstatic at the cost of the repair and the thoroughness of the work done. I have found my plumbing company!
