A True Hidden Gem - Best Massage Experience of My Life!…read more Holistic Body and Mind Massage is, without a doubt, the treat of a lifetime. I've been getting therapeutic massages for over 27 years, averaging about two per month, so I don't say this lightly: this was the best massage experience I've ever had. I've been to high-end spas--like the Wynn in Las Vegas--where the service is incredible, but you'll walk away $500 lighter. At Holistic Body and Mind Massage, I found an experience that rivaled those top-tier destinations for a fraction of the cost. The quality was absolutely elite, but what set it apart was the deep personal care and attention the masseuse provided. The atmosphere alone deserves five stars: tranquil music, warm lighting, a beautifully detailed room complete with art, a bonsai tree, and a gentle waterfall--all perfectly curated to relax every sense. The heated blankets and incredibly comfortable massage bed just elevated the whole thing to another level. Now let's talk about the masseuse. I've had over 250 different massage therapists in my life, and she is the best--bar none. What makes her exceptional is how skillfully she tailors the pressure for each muscle group and body type. As a bigger guy who likes a firm massage, it's rare to find someone who can apply the right intensity without going overboard. She did it flawlessly. No unnecessary pain, just deep relaxation, circulation boost, and real therapeutic relief. Her intuitive communication style was another plus. She was responsive and engaged when I felt like chatting, but completely respected the silence when I wanted to zone out. It's a rare gift to know when to speak and when to just let the experience unfold. After three sessions in a row, I'm ready to make this a weekly ritual--budget permitting! Last time, I even fell asleep mid-massage (something that's never happened before) and woke up feeling more rested from a 15-minute nap than I have in years. That's how powerful the experience was. In short: go. Just go. The pricing is more than fair for California and Nevada standards, and the value you receive is unmatched. Holistic Body and Mind Massage is where quality, ambiance, and personal care come together in the most magical way. I can't recommend it enough.

I really wanted to love this place because it made a great first impression. It was very clean,…read morebeautifully put together, and felt welcoming from the moment I walked in. You can tell the owner takes a lot of pride in the business, and I really appreciated that. I received a 90-minute massage. The massage itself was okay, but it wasn't anything memorable. I've probably had 30 massages over the years, and this one was pretty average compared to others I've had. Unfortunately, what stood out most was that my massage therapist repeatedly passed gas throughout the session. I understand that everyone is human and things happen, but it occurred multiple times during the 90 minutes, and she never acknowledged it or even said "excuse me." It made the experience uncomfortable and took away from what should have been an enjoyable massage. I truly appreciated how clean and inviting the spa was, but because of this experience, I'm not sure I'll be returning.

I had ongoing issues such as sleep problems, leg numbness, lower back pain, and the typical tension in my neck and shoulders. These were persistent sub-health conditions that had been affecting me for quite some time. With each session, I've felt gradual but clear improvements. My sleep has improved, the numbness in my legs has decreased, and the tension in my lower back, neck, and shoulders has eased significantly. Overall, my body feels more relaxed, stronger, and more balanced. What I really appreciate is that the treatment seems to focus on addressing the root cause rather than just providing temporary relief. It's a gradual process, but the consistent progress week by week gives me a lot of confidence.

I am beyond disgusted with the way my 75 year old mother was treated at Reno Massage and…read moreReflexology. Yesterday, when I called to schedule an appointment, I told them my mother was 75 years old. I was told they could not give her a massage because she was "too old." They had never seen her, never asked about her medical history, and never asked whether she had medical clearance. They simply refused based on her age. I told them my mother is healthy and that her age alone should not determine whether she could receive a massage. Today, they agreed to see her. Before the massage even started, my mother burped once. The staff immediately said that if she was "ill," we would have to pay for the full hour. I explained that she was not sick. She had simply burped. Less than 10 minutes into the massage, the therapist stopped the massage and claimed my mother was ill. I immediately asked my mother how she felt, and she told me she felt perfectly fine and wanted to continue the massage. I told the therapist that my mother was not sick and wanted to finish the appointment. The therapist refused and walked away. The therapist repeatedly claimed there was something wrong with my mother's nose. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my mother's nose, and my mother was not ill. When I asked both the receptionist and the massage therapist for their names, they refused to identify themselves. I requested their names multiple times, and they still refused. Their refusal can be verified by the business's security cameras. I then photographed the massage licenses displayed at the business to identify the employees involved because they would not provide their names when asked. The names displayed were Chunfang Wu and Yuqi Li. What was just as upsetting as the treatment itself was the complete lack of customer service and accountability. When a customer has a legitimate concern, refusing to identify yourself, refusing to answer questions, and simply walking away is unacceptable. My mother was humiliated and treated with a complete lack of dignity and respect. She was denied service yesterday because they said she was "too old," and today her massage was abruptly ended even though she repeatedly said she felt perfectly well and wanted to continue. This experience was unprofessional, disrespectful, and deeply upsetting. No customer, especially a 75 year old woman, should be judged solely because of her age, embarrassed over a single burp, or have a massage terminated despite repeatedly stating she felt fine. I will never return to this business, and I cannot recommend it to anyone. Everyone hid to avoid giving me their name. With this type of unprofessionalism and lack of customer service this business is doomed to go out of business soon.
