This one is located in Holmdel off of RT 35 North in the Kohl's shopping center and the other is located in Middletown off of RT 35 South. Both stores are about the same it just depends on what side of the Jersey Barrier you are on. I usually go to the Middletown Store since it is next Baha Fresh and I stop in after getting lunch. Feet First sells a wide range of skateboarding shoes as well as Ughs. The have lots of t-shirts, jeans and shorts that are designed to represent the skateboard culture. Feet First has a large selection of skateboards from Element and others. They also sell swimwear as well and is a great place to pick-up a new pair of boardshorts for the summer. I enjoy shopping at Feet First even though I am way out of the age demographic that Feet First is going after because I figure "I was only young once but I can be immature for a life time!". Crew.  They are currently running their end of season sales with an added 40% during the second week of January.  I walked in for the first time and felt I have found my new store. They carry everything from jeans, sweaters, hats, gloves, jewelry, handbags, pants, sunglasses, and some chic knick knacks for the home.  The only sad thing about this place is, as per the salesclerk, they only carry petite sizes online and it's only for jeans as they were originally famous for their denim clothing. Hence, the minus a star. The good news is they do carry a few sweaters in sized XXS. Not many but there are some. What I love most is not only are the extremely helpful sales people but their clothes which speaks for themselves. They are well made with clean structured lines. I found many of their styles of clothes to be classics and to be treasure for years to come.  Do I recommend this store? Oh Yes! John was helping a customer and never acknowledged my presence. After maybe 5 minutes an African American young woman I had passed when entering the store (she was at the pant rack near the front) came over. Standing maybe 8 feet away she started asking questions. I told her that with the loud music I couldn't hear her. She never budged and kept asking questions; I kept repeating that I couldn't hear her. I had my service dog who was sitting quietly. I heard her say something about the dog. Refusing to come near me meant she could not help fit me with a shoe. I asked for her name, and she turned and went to the back of the store. I then asked John for her name and he asked why I wanted it. When I explained that she was refusing to help me he stated "she would never do that." I explained I wanted to report this to the manager (who I have met -he is great). Per my request he called out the assistant store manager from the back. I explained what happened. No apology offered. He said "I'm here now" and offered to help. If she had an issue with a service dog she should have just called the manager to help. So much for good service! I left and drove to REI where I bought my shoes. So in the end they did me a favor. I got my walking shoes!!

I thought to have my Birkenstocks refurbished since I have had them for 11 years and just love them! He looked at them and said they are the wrong size for my feet without even looking how they fit on me!!! He walked away from me leaving me stunned that a small business-owner would treat a customer so poorly! He offered half hardly to fit me for a new pair of Birkenstocks - and then turned his back on me. I will never step foot in that store again!

Instead of giving me a price, the person working at the counter asked where the left sandal was. The left sandal still had the rubber heel on, so I didn't initially take it out of my bag but did so when he asked about it. I showed it to him, and he proceeded to take the sandal and tug at the rubber heel. I told him not to do that, but he ignored me and proceeded to rip off the rubber heel on the left sandal. This was quite upsetting and shocking that he would deliberately damage the heel. After repeatedly questioning him why he purposely broke the heel of the left shoe, he claimed that it was old and was going to break off anyway. That may or may not happen, but it's not for him to decide by deliberately ripping off the rubber that was still attached to the heel. Especially since I did not agree to any repairs since he didn't provide a price. Was that his way of drumming up business for repairing both sandals? I told him he needed to fix the left sandal heel which he broke. He kept saying that the rubber heel was going to break anyway and if he tried to nail it back, the rubber would fall apart. Based on his combative attitude and unprofessionalism, I was certain that he would make sure the rubber would break apart if he touched it any further. I asked him his name but he refused to give it, whereupon I left the store. Never have I experienced a repair shop of any kind where my item upon leaving is worse than upon entering, due to the fault of the repair person. No accountability for his action. That is not the way to run a reputable business.
