This office has really changed and is more like a meat market than a doctors office. Today my request to speak with Dr Bisht was refused and I was told I would not be allowed to speak with him. On several occasions I have sat in that office and heard the staff loudly discussing other patients, they are embarrassing. THIS IS NOT HEALTHCARE, THIS OFFICE IS HORRIBLE. I wanted to share an update on my experience with this practice. Per my previous post, I was under…read morethe care of the NP from initial visit on 2/15/23. During review of my family medical history she recommened and supposedly sent a request to their scheduler in the Lady Lake office to provide a carotid artery scan/ultrasound. Over the course of 4-6 weeks I called the scheduling office 4 times and also sent a message to my NP via their patient portal regarding the lack of follow through via the scheduler to schedule my procedure. When I spoke to the Lady lake office the initial call, I was told she was in with a patient and would call me back. She never did. I called subsequent times and was told that the scheduler was backed up with appointments and would get to me as soon as possible. She never did. I sent a message to my NP via the patient portal and also discussed it with her face to face at my March 2023 follow up appointment. She seemed rather complacent about the issue and stated that she would sent the scheduler a reminder. Nothing ever came of it, no call, no follow through on anyone's part. During my initial visit with the NP I was told that she wasn't allowed to provide any RX's per the owner/providers office regulations. If I should need an Rx in the future, I would need to schedule a separate appt. with the Dr. to obtain the Rx. Seemed odd to me, but whatever. The nurse never asked for my identity or checked my chart to see that I'm immunocompromised. She came off as being annoyed that I would even make such a request. She informed me that the NP had left the practice in December. Treating a patient in this manner is alarming to me and certainly not in my best interest. I was due to schedule a 6 month follow up with the NP this past fall, but was delayed in doing so. Then moved further north in FL and opted to change practices, partly because of the lack of follow through on staffing level. Doesn't seem to me as though quality patient care is really important to them. Today 1/3/24 I received a call from the offices scheduler to book an appointment for my carotid artery scan! Yup, nearly a year later. This kind of follow up is extremally poor! In summary, I'd say go somewhere else, NOT quality patient care.

I want to update my review on Gloria Hernandez who is supposed to be a doctor when I went to her in…read moreMay I gave her all the information of my old Doctor Who retired so she could get my medical records because she did not do her job and retrieve my medical records she just started ordering Bloodwork and tests for me I am on disability I get a small check therefore because of her negligence of not getting my doctors records from the previous doctor she ordered blood test for me that you can only get once a year on Medicare that is not the responsibility of the patient to know that that is your doctors responsibility by the lack of her not doing her job when I went to get bloodwork the next time I was charged $148 out-of-pocket because she ordered bloodwork that had been done 11 months ago I only had one more month to go and I would've gotten it for free with my Humana insurance again I want to stress because she did not get my medical records out of laziness and unprofessionalism that costed me $148 I only get $1400 a month on disability so you can see what a strain on my budget that was this doctor refused to help me refused to take care of me and send me to the right referrals send me on wild goose chase us to doctors that would not prescribe the medicine I needed such as Lifestream's which is a rehab facility and the medicine that I was needing they no longer prescribed as of 2017 so you tell me did that doctor or not know or was she just doing that on purpose knowing that my withdraws will cause seizures and or death as a side effect I called Humana about it they told me I would need to get another doctor in the Netwerk I told them I needed to file a grievance on this woman it is her job as a professional to know the side effects and withdrawals and to help you that is her medical ethical responsibility she really dropped the ball there and three months later after finding a new doctor I am build $148 out of a small disability check that I get think of that when you are deciding about a doctor you have to check them out very good or you will get stuck with one that is only about charging you more office visits and not about helping you and doing her job that is very unprofessional and as a doctor she knows better beware of that doctor she is part of Lakeview medical center they have several offices so I wouldn't want to be a patient in any one of them I would not allow that woman to give my dog water that's how highly I think of her I had to give her one star in order to do this referral if it was up to me there isn't enough negative stars to give her beware of her now I will be having to go to Florida department of health and make a complaint hopefully they will take that woman's license to practice she certainly does not need it by the way she drives a Tesla so you can tell she's got plenty of money from the patience she is scamming And they are getting poor service if at all any service

I told her it was a long story but my mom was out of state in Rehab and I needed to talk to the nurse about her to please have her call me back. Four hours later my niece called me saying that she had spoke with the same receptionist and the lady told her she was not planning on calling having the nurse call me back because I would not tell her what I wanted. First of all..that is not what I said. I was busy just like you and didn't have time to tell a 30 minute story that I would need to repeat again. The most important thing was that I needed was the nurse to please call me back, apparently she missed that part!! So cause she was irritated I guess, she was gonna for go patient care! That's awesome. Also just know that if you are getting older Dr Tang does not deal with Assisted Living Facilities, according to this same staff lady he is "too busy". Thanks!

My 80 year old mother, stroke victim, has made 4 calls, 1 office visit and sent a form via US Mail, so that she could independently get Lake County Connection to transport her as well as my 87 year old diabetic father, to doctor's appointments. Unfortunately Dr. Tang's office staff is uninformed, rude, unprofessional and if you say something they may find contentious and truthful about their patient services- they simply hang up on you. Rosalind and the new girl hung up on me today. Every time I asked a question each of them put me on hold. Passive-Aggressive behavior? Ready for the mind boggling questions? Here it is: "How will you inform my mother when her form is ready to be picked up?" Took three people to address the question and they hung up before the answered. Can it be that my parents are the first people to ever seek the services of Lake County Connections and had to ask Dr. Tang for a medical verification form complete? Seems unlikely. Someone needs to train Dr. Tang's staff on patient services. This is unacceptable to say the very least. Next stop: YELP!
