    Pillowtalk

I always order the Pillowtalk, their pistachio drink. It's the best on the menu. I love the ambiance with their tiki vibe and island decor. The place is always happening and sometimes extra busy. We came in with a larger party and these drinks take a little more time to make, so didn't complain about the wait time, because the drinks were great! Definitely will be back!

Quick and friendly service by the bartender. He rung up the drinks immediately and quickly returned the card to us. The vibe was lively but not too loud. A great place to celebrate NYE. The drinks are well mixed and accurate to what is described in the menu.

I visited on NYE and enjoyed the steady stream of patrons as well as the music playing throughout. The drink menu had a wide variety for everyone to find something they will enjoy. My bartender was friendly and always made sure to check up on my group.

Bellhop has great tiki drinks, very good drinks- well presented and the folks making the drinks are awesome but it's not a tiki bar. Ambiance is more of a cool beach vibe with club music. The crowd is hip and trendy. It's a fun place to grab drinks with friends. Of the three places that brands itself as a tiki bar in Des Moines, Bellhop is the best overall.

Sparkling wine cuvée, can't remember the name of the drink but it was non-alcoholic. The menu and our view from our seats at the bar.

The service was wonderful as long as you are kind and patient especially on a Friday night. Drinks are good and they have a little something for everyone including the non alcoholic drinks. The ambiance is tiki bar but with all kinds of music. There is a photo booth so make sure to capture the fun of the night. And get a burger at Ernie's for the walk home!

The vibes are great. I love the thc cocktails, the neon, and the fun drink containers.

Musubi- seriously the best ones in Des Moines

Always well crafted drinks, and great bartenders- they even have a mocktail menu worth mentioning. The scene feels tropical, and is definitely appreciated in the dead of winter in the Midwest. Ever since they added their late night food menu, and their Sunday brunch menu, it has become my go-to for a quick bite to eat. Highly recommended Musubi (seriously it's UNREAL) and the loaded tots if you're brunching. The Korean fluffy egg sandwich is real good too!! It's honestly hard to just pick one! Lol For the late night menu, do NOT sleep on the Mac daddy sliders..unreal, and covers all the bases for a comfort meal.

A fun and cozy bar that is unique to see at the east village location. My friend and I came in one weekend to try their drinks and were pleasantly surprised w their drink presentation. Not to mention they tasted fantastic. We also ordered from their holiday drink menu, I am definitely excited to try more of their drinks when visiting in the future. I ordered their cocoa Chanel which was a sweet chocolate drink. I'm normally skeptical on chocolate drinks but this one has a blend of orange which helped balance out the sweetness. Since we showed up in the afternoon, no one else was there except us so we found seating fine. They don't really have booths except one large booth area.

Worth the trip. Ask for Troy, bartender extraordinaire, who made us delicious 'Iron Mango' cocktails when we asked for a surprise. Don't forget to ask about the "Dan Attack". Thoroughly worth the $6. Atmosphere: cross between a Miami cocktail bar and the sweet island of Hawaii. Good music and 2 TVs. Food: none Drinks: I got the painkiller and loved it! My buddy got the zombie and ordered another one. Definitely recommend ordering the Iron Mango .

They don't have food yet, but their website says it's coming soon. The service and atmosphere is great - the colorful seats, floor tiles, and lighting combined with the wood and plants is a great vibe. Their drinks are also top notch and really well priced for the quality of the drinks and bartending.

We stopped in for a drink, which quickly became two. The cocktails were so unique and delicious, made w. Quality ingredients not just sugary syrups. The Saturn is my favorite because I'm a passion fruit junkie but the cocoa Chanel was equally as tasty! So perfect for the cold snowy day we had. The bartender was super nice and helped recommended somewhere for us to eat dinner as well.

Very cute atmosphere and creative, tasty drinks. For $12, I expected a lot higher drink-to-ice ratio. My friend's drink had similar proportions (the Pillowtalk). We left feeling ripped off.

What I found was a little gem off of one of the main roads in downtown Des Monies. Even before you enter this self described "Tiki Bar" you see all the brick buildings, and then you see an actual grass covered roof...yep that's the place and a really nice touch. The interior is equally cool and spacious, you are greeted by the bar area immediately when you walk in. To your right are comfy couches and instagram friendly neon wall signs, with that signature tiki touch of floral patterns and great lighting. The location is connected to a Asian food restaurant, so they get their food from them as you drink some of the most well crafted adult drinks I've had in a while. I came for happy hour on a Saturday 4:00pm-6:30pm. The drinks were basically 2.00 off with discounted food, the menu is limited to mostly chicken wraps and crab rangoons etc. I will say the portions were filling and very delicious. The star of the show was my El Colmillo, a tequila based drink with lime, orange juice, lime. The bartender did say it's all pre mixed, and that day she subbed the tequila with Casamigos, because the house tequila was out. Customer service was great, until it wasn't. Our server was excellent, until a guy came in off break and they seemed to have some tension. She really didn't have that same positive energy as before, otherwise an overall excellent experience. Pro Tip: Take a walk over to "Hello, Marjorie", it's a completely different vibe but drinks there are just as good...if not better. Go see Travis, he is 10/10 at "Hello, Marjorie".

Their menu has traditional pizzas such as sausage, pepperoni, and meatzilla. They also have some unique Asian inspired creations like Tai Chicken, Mac and Cheese, General Tso's Chicken, Iowan, Crab Ragoon, and Korean Beef Chicken pizzas. They also have soups and salads, and Chinese food entrees like Beef and Broccoli, Stir-Fry Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Orange Chicken, and Chili Garlic Shrimp. And yes, they have some of the best tiki drinks and mocktails around. I ordered a Painkiller and a Waving Cat to go with my Bang Bang Chicken Pizza. It took them about 12 minutes to prepare my pie. It was fresh and hot. It was also so good. I have never had a pizza like that before. It was very flavorful and tasty. I finally have decided I'm not going back after a few failed tries; the spinach and artichoke dip literally gave my friend and I food poisoning (we hadn't seen each other in over a week and this is the only thing we shared, and our symptoms started at the exact same time). I do love that they have the gluten conscious menu. But the chicken ranch meal is so dry it's not worth the money. The Cole slaw has the least flavor I've ever experienced (and I love Cole slaw). The burgers come out overcooked. I haven't strayed away from sandwiches or salads, maybe the pasta is good? I won't be going back, though.
