This "tiki" bar is located downtown. There is metered street parking available to park. It is referred to a tiki bar because they serve tiki drinks. It does not look or feel like a tiki bar. It has a Miami bar kind of feel to it, with its bright lights. The bar is located in the center of the place and is in the shape of a square with seating on 3 of its 4 sides. They have a television and it was playing my favorite movie, the Last Dragon, while I was there. They have a decent selection of tropical tiki favorites including daiquiris and a full bar too. The bar tender was very nice, but he was kind of slow and not very attentive. After waiting about 10 minutes at a table I found him at the bar, placed my order and went back to my table where he brought me my drink that I ordered. I was chasing him down the entire night to get my drinks ordered. In learned that it was one of his first night alone, so I am sure that he will get better. I ordered a Pain Killer, a Funky Flamingo and a Pillow Talk. All the drinks were very good. They went down so smooth and were delicious. I will admit that the ice is a bit on the heavy side. A fun and cozy bar that is unique to see at the east village location. My friend and I came in one weekend to try their drinks and were pleasantly surprised w their drink presentation. Not to mention they tasted fantastic. We also ordered from their holiday drink menu, I am definitely excited to try more of their drinks when visiting in the future. You can order a regular mixed drink, beer, or seltzer here just like at any other bar, or you can have something more unique and try one of their thc infused drinks and/or tiki cocktails. Well have no fear Bellhop has an amazing beer list both bottles/cans and drafts.. Full of local and regional good stuff from IPA to Sours.. Our hunky, bearded mixologist even gave us a few samples of things we had never tried! I also find most Tiki type places, it takes forever to get your drinks and they are usually a shark attack to your wallet, aka an arm and a leg! Not here. Everything is reasonably priced especially the beer! I also got a few of those island type drinks.. I got the Margarita and something I forgot with rum and pineapple! I probably forgot cause these drinks are stiff.. But our bartender kept are water full and I left happy! They even do a non alcoholic special drink every week! The layout is fantastic and looks very mid century modern which I dug, they stuck with class and not your typical tiki torches and hula gear! Our bartender was great! The staff was all dressed in Hawaiian shirts and the epic wall paper on the east wall is perfect for your Island selfie! I was super excited to try this. It is so close to home and I love tropical drinks. A group of us went there Sunday afternoon. It was not that busy. The bar was full and only a few tables taken. It was bar service only which is fine but it took us a long time to get our orders in and you had to wiggle in between people sitting at bar to order. I got the pina colada and it was very disappointing. It tasted okay but it was filled full with small cubed ice. I think it took me like 5 sips to drink it. That is a lot of money to spend on a very small amount of actual product. Nobody else seemed too enthusiastic about their drinks either. We all had one and were ready to go to a different bar. Menu didn't really have drinks I was expecting such as Purple Rain, Miami Vice, and Blue Hawaiian. I didn't notice any of the drinks were blended either. I think that this place could be very successful if some changes are made. It just opened a couple days ago so really hoping they improve. read more

I freaking love Bellhop! This is a cool Tiki bar located in East Village. I came here last week with my coworkers. I wish I had known about this place much sooner! Four of us shared a scorpion bowl and although it's small in size, it's big in flavor and very strong! I asked for my own individual scorpion after having the bowl, and our waitress graciously accommodated my request. I loved it! The ambiance, decor, and artwork of Bellhop will take you away to a cool beatnik spot in Hawaii in a heartbeat! Delicious drinks and good atmosphere make this bar and win win! read more

Some drinks were a little more, but everything is so fresh and thoughtfully prepared, and lets be honest, a tropical vacation is going to set you back a lot more than eight bucks! Well worth it.
