Is there any such thing as a chocolate boutique? Because that is what Bellfine is! This little shop may look modest as you walk past, but when you decide to open the door to take a look around, an explosion of chocolate, greeting cards, candles and sweets erupts right in front of you and you will find that a huge smile will appear on your face.
I was surprised by how large the shop actually was. There are three rooms for you to browse, with the main one being "The Chocolate Boutique" while the two back rooms are crammed with candles and gifts. You could lose so much time in here without even knowing!
There is also a HUGE selection of Emma Bridgewater gear on sale here. In fact, most of the back is taken up by it! Gorgeous ceramic teapots and ornaments will entice you through there to pick them up and examine them before carefully carrying them back through to the till to spend your hard earned dough on them with their expensive charm.
The best thing about Bellfine is the mad woman who works there! Once you start making conversation with her, you will probably never exit her shop until she finishes a huge conversation about the High Street which somehow links back to you asking about the Emma Bridgewater stuff. Mad or not, she is still lovely and always makes my day when I am shopping. read more
