She fixed my nail whit this result. Urgh
    Yardley P.

Saw this on groupon so I decided to try this place out. Walked in there for my appointment and the lady said I have been there and I can't use groupon. I told her never been there. She couldn't even find me in the system. She said she just remember me by my face. Lol so, as for the end result. You can tell by looking at the picture. Didn't bother to have it fixed again coz I don't want to stay another 30minutes especially just for one nail. Not a smooth finish. I believe May, the owner is the one who fixed my nail. Btw, I had it fixed coz when I went to the restroom(after almost an hour of drying time) as I pull my pants down, it chipped. Prolly won't come back again.

Today, I went in for my hydration mani-pedi that I got from Groupon for $35. I had to call in 6 times before they picked up but it seems that they do get back to you quickly when you leave a message. Although they do have a parking lot, its small so you might have to park on the side/street. My first thoughts of Bellezza Spa when I went in was that it was quite small; about four seats and only three women running the place. However it is very clean. I do wish they had their nail color selection closer to the the entrance. Their seats also do not have a built in tub so when you do pedi, they bring out a plastic tub with hot water. Although its not as nice, it was still very relaxing and gets the job done. I had the pleasure of Sandra treating my nails today. We were mostly quiet except for some small talks here and there. She's nice and knows what she's doing. The Hydration mani-pedi is the same as a normal mani-pedi with added bonus of a leg and arm scrub, lotion, hydration cream and a massage to work it all into your skin. Felt really nice and relaxing. Since its winter, my skin does dry out and this seems to combat that although I'm not sure if its worth the extra $20. What I love the most is the top coat that they use. I don't know if they mixed diamonds in or what but it feels nice, hard and smooth! I feel like these nails aren't gona chip in a while. Love the top coat. Sandra was attentive and hurried to fix my nails when we were moving back to the chairs and the lotion got on to my nails. I left about two hours later feeling pampered and relaxed. All in all it was a great experience! I opted to get their pamphlet cause it was a wonderful experience. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey. It seems like most of their facials are around $100 and their basic mani-pedi is $40 which is about $10 more than what I usually pay. However, if you're looking for a clean, organized place with nice staffs that know what they're doing and don't mind paying a little extra for it then this might be what you're looking for! Definitely recommend though I personally might not frequent as often due to higher price than what I usually pay for.

A sample of simple yet quality work.

Bought the groupon for hot hydration Mani Pedi. First off let me just say my nails were jacked. Lol that morning I had broken two and walked around with actual sharp claws. Anyways, this place is amazing, took me forever to find a color which probably cut into the milk bath time that I could've used more of. This place is very clean. They use brand new sanitized packaged tools. However, it does get a bit chilly. They make sure to only book a few clients at once so each person receives focused custom care and not trying to squeeze as many clients as possible. They take their time, attention to detail. The lady noticed I cracked one of my toenails and repaired it with glue instead of trying to cut more off. I picked a difficult color and it still looks evenly coated, no streaks, lines or see through spots. My french pedicure has clean smooth lines. It seems like I waited forever for my them to tell me my nails were dry but for good reason! They last much longer, usually when I feel like they're and try to be careful I always nik my nails but they ensure great care. It would be an added bonus for massage chairs but not necessary. I will definitely be returning and trying out other services. If your looking for quality and luxury thats not stupid expensive this would be a great place.

They did not honor this gift card that was given for my bday. Turned me down right at appointment. Service is terrible.

I went in with gift card from bday and they would not honor it. I spoke to a lady on the phone and explained my gift card and she said that they would honor it. This is the worst salon I have ever stepped foot in. I wouldn't have wasted my time but tried to use gift card given for bday. They were rude and turned it down saying they need gift card # which was never given. It was $100. The customer service here is terrible and I can assume the services that they offer are even worse seeing as how they rushed me out of salon and did not try to figure out a way to bring up gift card history. I would give them negative stars if I could. I put a photo of gift card on my yelp... it states that it does not expire. Do not waste your time.

Top L: polish under the nails. Top R: not fully polished & uneven. Bottom L: uneven surface & nails. Bottom R: May buffed them.

I read the past reviews and while I was hesitant, I still thought I would give it a try. I had a Groupon, so that's probably where I first went wrong...I got drawn in by the hydration offer. Like most of the past reviewers mentioned, they bring out a tub of warm sudsy water. The temperature just right, so i had high hopes that it would set the tone for the rest of the visit. But boy was I wrong. Mind you, I'm not as picky with my pedi as I am with my manicure. Hey, I have to look at my hands all day so who wouldn't be bothered. I watched as she looked elsewhere while barely buffing my nails. They looked jagged and rough. I do my nails at home, so to see her pay so little attention to this detail bothered me. Without a good foundation, all else fails...no matter how hard you try. She then started shaping my nails. I noticed a few nails that needed some work and pointed them out to her before she moved on to the next step. She seemed bothered by this... So I decided I wasn't going to press the issue, I can file it when I get home. No big deal. As she began to polish my nails, I noticed that she wasn't wiping much of it off the brush and was applying thick coats...we all know what happened next - bubbles everywhere. And not just a few here or there...but really noticeable bumps. I mentioned them to her and she shrugged it off and said "I don't know" and continued to apply the clear coat. I'm usually an open book and my expression usually shows on my face, but I did very well keeping my shock and disdain from showing on my face. The nail tech even forgot to take off the mask from my arms and I didn't get the hot lavender oil massage on my legs or arms. The owner, May, was working on a client so I waited until she was free and I could grab her attention. I showed her my nails and luckily she agreed that the way my nails looked were unacceptable. Hey, if you saw it you'd think so too. So May took the polish off and reapplied it herself. That was their one saving grace. But I have to say, it wasn't perfection. She missed the sides and the nail she did try to correct (ring finger), didn't look all that great. There was polish under my nails...sloppy. I suggest they get brighter lighting, because the light from the sun and the overhead lights are not good enough to see that you haven't polished the sides of my nails and the shadows probably play tricks on your perception. As I was getting up to leave, I noticed that they had not wiped away all of the mask from the back side of my leg. I know I used a Groupon, but that shouldn't affect the standards in which you do nails. As a first time customer, you should do your best so that I can become a frequent client. I'm thankful that I did not have to pay the full price ($60). But truly don't see myself returning or recommending this place either. After what I went through I should have just walked out the door. But I used to work in the service industry, so I know how that works... I left a 20% tip. But I want you to know, you DID NOT earn it!!!

    Cute little nail salon
    Mee V.

I was very excited when I saw how cute this boutique nail salon looked. However, I was so disappointed in the service. I got off of work early to meet my friend for our nail appointment.Unfortunately, the owner accidentally double booked my friend and I with a couple of other people. She denied any wrong doing and said we did NOT have appointments. She was adamant and rude about it. When my friend arrived, she all of a sudden remembered my friend did call a week in advance but suggested we come back the following day. I explained to the owner that I took time off of work to come have a girls day with my pregnant friend. She reluctantly called one of her other customers to cancel on her. Even though the owner canceled one of her appointments, she still rushed through our nails so that she could squeeze in another appointment immediately after us. My gel nails didn't last very long bc I don't feel like she did a great job in the first place. I will not be coming back here again.

No, but two of my male friends also get their manzillian waxes there and the owner is very experienced with both male and female waxes. She makes it quick and painless, for me at least. My husband also gets his nose hair waxed there!

Her only request was a hydro facial and deep tissue massage at the same place. I found this spa offered both services and my mom and I decided to take her here. My mom called to schedule the services and I called for more information about facials and recommendations for my eczema and sensitive skin. I found out the day we requested might not have an esthetician available, but Jenny and Tiffany texted us and really helped try to find a good time and day that would work. They figured out how to schedule both sets of services so they would work with just one esthetician and made it feel very smooth. I ended up getting the City Life facial with Kim plus the lymphatic drainage add on. She was wonderful!! From start to finish, I knew I was in great care. I also got a deep tissue massage with Sammy and she was just as wonderful. I left feeling incredibly relaxed and I know my sister did too. She said she fell asleep during her massage ‍ Thank you for all your help and care!

A friend recommended Cosh so I decided to give it a try. When I made my appointment, I filled out a short questionnaire - length of hair, extensions/no extensions, etc. Also asked if I wanted a cooling or warming eye mask. I decided on a Rejuvenate treatment. When I arrived, Whitney greeted me. I was offered a beverage while waiting then was given a warm face towel to freshen up. Molly took me to her station to set me up. She took photos of my scalp. Whitney came over to explain what I was looking at. Based on those photos, she informed Molly which products would be best to use. Even though my scalp was in good condition, Whitney suggested an exfoliating/nourishing scalp solution. She asked about my pain tolerance as some clients felt it irritated their scalp. She told me that if anything bothered me, I should tell Molly immediately and she would make sure I was OK (e.g. if the scalp solution burned, tell Molly and she would immediately rinse it out). During the treatment, my scalp felt a bit irritated. If Molly was massaging that part of my scalp it was fine. There was a point where steam was used as part of the treatment. My throat wasn't happy but it was stopped. Afterwards, there wasn't an appreciable change since my scalp was already in good condition. It looked like it had been moisturized. My hair felt softer. I was relaxed and happy. Whitney suggested I massage my scalp the next few day to get the most out of the "red light" treatment. I've been doing that and my scalp feels looser. The entire experience was lovely. I left feeling pampered. I'll be back.

I came here for a hydrafacial and cleanse for my scalp in the evening. Booking online is swift and can be done with no issues! The front desk lady was incredibly sweet and we chit chatted about going to Japan together. She also recommended that I upgraded from cleanse to the detox package, which I enjoyed thoroughly. The woman giving me my scalp analysis spoke quite thoroughly on the state of my scalp and how I would continue forward to take care of it. I would recommend not washing your hair the day of or day before to get the most out of your analysis, she did mention it was a bit difficult to ascertain the state of it (but it was still clear from the photos up close). She mentioned that our scalp is similar to our face skin, I have combination for both (oily in the T zones and dry on the other portions/sides of my head). I still had a decent amount of sebaceous filaments after my hydrafacial, but I would come back here again for the scalp spa experience. It's very cozy and tucked on the outskirts of downtown Burlingame where there's plenty of residential parking and a parking structure. The workers are friendly and the interior has a calm ambiance that's very conducive to a relaxing experience.

This is my secret spa when I need total rejuvenation…read more I've come here after international trips to decompress from 15+ hour flights, and every time, it resets my entire nervous system. What stands out immediately is how curated the experience is from the moment you walk in. Even the names of the services feel intentional and aligned: there's a clear brand philosophy behind everything they do. The decor is thoughtful, not overwhelming, and once you enter the massage space, the experience becomes even more personalized. You first enter the sliding wooden doirs to a crystal grid, and the therapist actually takes the time to understand your body--areas of concern, areas to avoid--which is incredibly important. Not all massages are created equal. When a therapist works with your body instead of just applying routine techniques, the experience becomes far more effective. Afterward, you step into this walkway that feels like an evening on Malibu Beach--the sound of large ocean waves, the lighting, the atmosphere. It pulls you into the present moment in a way that feels intentional + ritualistic. Inside the room, everything is designed for comfort and immersion. The tables are warm, there's a soft white fur blanket, and even the smallest details are intentional: the cute tiny Tibetan bowls where you place your belongings. When you pick them up at the end, it creates this subtle, calming chime. It's those small nuances that make the experience feel iconic! Each massage therapist has their own artistry, but they all follow a unified philosophy. The use of essential oils, guided breathing, and the ambient sound of ocean waves creates a full sensory experience. At times, it genuinely feels like you're on a coastal retreat--there's even this subtle quality in the air that mimics that ocean freshness. Kinda like salt [reminds me of those himalayan salt rooms in jimjilbangs in Korea]. Even the restroom is clean, calming, and consistent with the overall experience. Usually a candle of their signature smell is lit...nothing feels like an afterthought. I've had massages all over the world, and this place is something special. It's not just about getting a massage--it's about the environment, the intention, and how your body is guided into relaxation. That level of care makes a difference. The staff is warm, some know me by name, and it always feels like I'm stepping into a space where healing is the priority: physically and for the nervous system. If you become a member, it's also much more reasonable to come regularly, which I highly recommend. This place is precise, intentional, and beautifully executed. I love it. It was not worth it for all the stress. They have a membershio which I was thinking about joining but I won't now. I don't trust people who operate like this.

When it comes to gift certificates, you cannot book your service through their website, so I decided to go in person to make my appointment. The lady who helped me was super friendly and made me feel welcomed. It was highly recommended from the person who gifted me the gift certificate to either book with Wendy, due to her pressure of really getting in those tight areas, or May, who was also really great. It just so happened May was available for the time that worked for me. The spa is clean, May came to greet me right on time, she asked me if I had any area's I wanted her to focus on, and checked in on me multiple times throughout the massage to confirm her pressure was ok. I never felt so relaxed and so comfortable. I would definitely recommend booking with May for your next massage in Burlingame!
