The first few sips were yummy but then it had a medicinal / syrupy note to it after that which I wasn't crazy about. The music is fun - heavy alt/indie/rock/emo vibes and ties in to the overall vibe of the decor and branding, I could see it being offputting to some if that's not your taste and you got a particularly heavy/screamy song, so head's up there. I like the vibe and want to hang out here again, so I'd try it again, although the types of beer they make aren't especially my favorites. We went to the drive thru the other day to restock on ice and wine in the middle of our vacation. Not being able to browse around, we gave the cashier our price point and she recommended the perfect sparkling wine. All of the staff here are friendly when we stop in. Of course there are other liquor and wine stores right in Newport, but the prices at Aquidneck Liquors can't be beat.
