Every once in a while a restaurant makes you question all the reviews you have given previously. It's like in the Olympics where the judges have to leave room in case some gymnast exceeds all expectations and they need to give them an 11. this is one of those places. Everything about it was excellent.
Great view , homey inside, absolutely wonderful host. The owner i think as he said the pesto and bacon was his idea.
The food... we thought about backtracking a couple days later an hour out of our way to get this food again. But they are closed on tuesdays
He said the chef had been in the kitchen for 45 years and it shows.
I seriously could not have asked for anything better.
I'm told his brother runs a restaurant between brienz and visp that I'm guessing it's also worth a try.
