To respond to the other reviews: 1. There are signs on that cooler along the wall that say it isn't on. There will be signs on the beers in the cooler that they do have available chilled. It is very misleading. 2. Most of the liquor stores I go to only accept cash for hard liquor. I am only able to use cash on liquor at the store in Springboro, Franklin, and Jungle Jim's. You can use a credit card on beer. 3. It's a very old building with a little historical significance. It use to be an old local grocery story called Woodys. It's a shame they don't fix the place up.

I was recently accused of stealing a 2 liter of Coke and then was scolded by two of the employees who told me I "was very bad and that they were watching everything." So, I bought three 2 liters to pay for the one I took and asked the manager if he honestly thought that I meant to steal from the store. He pulled out his phone and showed me the footage and said that he didn't expect a regular to steal from them. I will never return. It's bad enough being an alcoholic but I am not a thief. I will give them three stars because I've never had issues here, but three stars because I am truly offended.

The menu focuses on shareables and handhelds with a distinct appreciation for burgers. The poutine and Brussels sprouts looked fun on paper, but they both took a backseat to the Ripple Burger with Boursin cheese and bourbon bacon peach jam. The amount of overall alcohol that this relatively small bar offers is impressive. But they only have about 5 beers on tap at a given time.

The layout of this store is so nice - it's very easy to find what you're looking for, and it's enticing to browse the entire store and find a few more unique items to try. There is such a variety in here! I really like how the floorplan is wide open... not high shelves packed into a store that make it almost claustrophobic to navigate (like many liquor stores in the Dayton area). Last, the shop owner is very inviting and friendly. Like I said, I'm sold. If I ever need anything alcohol related, this will be my go-to place!

That sounded more interesting than waiting in the car so we also went there. The wine bar is also an Inn. It was a fairly cute place and the lady was very nice and patient to help. You could do it a few ways ... buy some samples or just buy a glass. The place is names Deaf Monty and had several pics of a small white dog .. and there was a small white dog at her feet. I inquired if that was Deaf Monty ... she said Deaf Monty had passed to the rainbow gate .. this was like Monty 3 :) We got some wine and went in the other room to sit and enjoy it. The other couple did the same and we did some cross table chatting. They were not from the area and had some questions. We were all having a nice time chatting among ourselves when the other girl notice a dog in a small dog bed up on a high shelf. I had seen similar fake battery powered cat and dog that breathed and gave my thoughts .. the owner spoke up from the other room and said that was the original Monty. Hmm keeping stuffed dog in your wine bar/ inn??? huh .. seemed more than a bit odd. gave us all a uncomfortable feeling and changed the vibe of the place. I'm here 1-2x per year if friends request to go. I'm usually one and done. Drinks aren't that great, and they're not well-balanced. They are more affordable than craft cocktails elsewhere, but you get what you pay for. Back to the service. We have experienced the most awkward rude service here repeatedly, which is so odd, as we know most of the long time bartenders around town and don't experience the same elsewhere. I'm not sure if it's management, a bro, toxic male culture, or what, but these dudes are jerks. It had to be said. If it was once or twice, fine, but something's amiss. Sorry, guys. Do better. We are trying to support you, but you make it so difficult.
