Stock your beer fridge here, no joke! They have anything you may be looking for in stock, but also a huge selection of discount beers every week. Usually 5-8 different brews for ~$4/6 pack and this is craft stuff! Just usually last season or something that didn't sell, but I like trying new things so this place gets me to try all kinds of stuff. Can't speak to much beyond that, but the staff is always friendly and helpful. We usually stop in after a trip to Eudora Brewing next door! read more

We love this little shop. Great cigar selection for my husband. They are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the cigar profiles. Nice guys. Way better cigar selection than arrow wine. We stop in often. They have some wine and beer to buy and carry alot more than you would think for craft beers. I like it! read more

Great place to go for specialty beers, cigars or some Greek food items. My husband's family loves to make grape leaves, though they are hard to find. They offer them in 2 different sized jars here. Staff are all very friendly. read more

Decent cigar selection, but the cigars in the glass case inside the humidor have some significant mold issues going on which the guy at the counter blew off as plume, which is typical for inexperienced cigar shop owners. Was a shame because they had some good sticks I would have liked to buy in there. Poor guy is going to ruin his whole stock because he is in denial about a simple mold issue. read more

I used to stop here for beer on the way home until I was treated rudely by a bearded employee. When I walked in with my daughter he said "Ah, what the f***?". He acted like I was an inconvenience. I almost thought they were closed and I wasn't suppose to be there. He then proceded to stare me down. I grabbed the beer I wanted and went to the counter. I then heard him say to his friend "God, what the f*** is with these customers." At that moment I left the beer on the counter, called him an a**hole, and left. He then followed me out the door trying to explain that he said "what the f*** is with these bottle caps". Yeah right. Won't be back ever again. I feel more comfortable at Belmont Party Supply or Arrow Wine where there are friendly people who welcome me to buy from them. read more

Went for the first time tonight. The owner was on site and very friendly and helpful. Store is very clean and has a nice selection of Boston Stoker coffee, wine, and beer. Prices are very reasonable and the BS coffee is cheaper than at the BS stores! Tried the 5 pack gyros (as suggested by the owner) and they were fantastic!! Will be back soon! read more

Why we love what we do: THE STORY: It's in our blood. I am a very proud first generation Greek - American. My parents immigrated to the United States after WWII, leaving behind thier war-torn country, to begin a new life and search for thier piece of the "american dream" that was sought by so many in the early 1950's. They left thier small village of Alea, Greece, and settled along with their parents, brothers and sisters to raise their families together in Dayton, Ohio. I grew up and worked along side my Parents, Papou (grandpa), Theos (Uncles), Theas (Aunts) and cousins, at Wilmington Heights Market, where a strong work ethic and 'customer comes first' attitude was instilled in me from a young age.In 1995, My wife Joanne and I took our 'first steps' and opened The SmokeHouse tobacco outlets. Today, The Market is our neighborhood store celebrating the good life - Hand rolled, , great beers, spectacular wines, Greek specialty foods and much more.

The guy that's behind the counter is a real piece of work. He has signs on the door that say "Mask Required for Entry" and "Please Allow 6' Distance". However, when you try to do as the sign says, he criticizes you for it. I think this guy values his politics more than his business. So be it. As he and his ilk slowly die off from COVID, insuring that there will never be enough conservative voters to elect another republican president in our lifetimes, his business will flounder. The Market is a great place to get a Gyro kit with Tzatziki sauce. The sauce is homemade by the owner. They have them in the corner with the Moussaka pans. The food is great. They also sell coffee and cigars. read more
