This place, famous for its great location on a lake, has been my favourite restaurant in Falkensee…read moresince the current (Italian!) restaurateur took over a few years ago. Food has constantly been (very) good, the atmosphere friendly, the décor pleasant. That said: My last two visits have been rather disappointing. The service has turned very inattentive. As a new arrival, you can easily sit and wait for 30 minutes without any notice been taken of you (in a half empty place!). A salad was served with no dressing whatsoever, no oil and vinegar or pepper mill on the table either (both were sitting on some other, empty, table). A waiter spoke virtually no German or English (or Italian for that matter). How easily can an excellent reputation be ruined! The owner should take immediate action!
