This place is a hidden gem. A completely unexpected, delicious discovery. Cooking style is modern south-east asian, vietnamese, indochina and much more, very interesting and also very different from the typical vietnamese or thai style cooking. These guy simply give their best (assuming this was a reason for the name).
The way the dishes are presented is very creative, tasty, and surprising in a very postive way. I went there with my teenage daughter and my wife. They loved it! And we have been back many times.
We chose, e.g. spring rolls which were very different from the usual style, in a positive way, crispy, tasty and accompanied by a slightly sweet chili lemon sauce. Spring rolls are offered with shrimp but also beef, albeit as a "burrito". Decoration is creative but not exagerated.
Pho soups can be ordered as a starter or main meal and offer are an aromatic explosion with cinnamon
Star anise, coriander, and many others, depending on style and type, decorated with fresh herbs.
On other occasions, we had flambéed tender beef or duck served on steaming hot iron plates.
The staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home immediately. We enjoy getting back here and wish the owners plenty of success which is well deserved. The name of the place is 'Simplé' but this is a serious understatement as this kitchen is delicious and everything but simple and nothing but excellent. So tasty.
