DO NOT STAY HERE. My family stayed on this property for 7 days and paid quite a bit for the house we stayed in. We had several issues from beginning. For starters the house was not clean. Within a few moments of being there, all of the barefoot has black dirty feet. They don't clean the floors. -several of the bathtubs were dirty. -microwave broken -lied about parking spots. -wifi sucked - maintenance said they've told the owners they need extenders and they don't care. - a/c didn't work and would change and we would get hot. -sheets stained. Our room has big yellow stains all over the bed, so we slept on a top sheet. -false advertising about parking -we got towed while moving out and the man was mean and made my older aunt give him $125 and then dropped the car in the middle of the street. -microwave didn't work and maintenance said the owners know and won't replace it. -the hot tub wasn't hot or even warm. -carpet dirty. -multiple TVs didn't work -no remote for the theater room. They contract with predatory towers-- we got towed while moving out.... Who tows at 20 minutes before check out?? We are literally brining stuff out. We had to pay $125 for them to release the car. We are a family who makes the best of everything so we still had a great time... but will never stay here again or recommend it. Oh yeah- if you have any issues management is totally unhelpful.

Who ever is the Cleanning service they need to be fired. The place was dirty. The whole place need to be thrown Away. Hair in the tubs . Need better service on the cleaning not worth the $150 for the Cleanning service more like $2.

We are residents in the Reflections neighborhood and visit the Storey Lake Clubhouse pool often,…read moreespecially when our children are in town. Overall, we really enjoy the amenities, it's a great setup and something we value having so close to home. However, our most recent visit was disappointing. We were required to pay for our pass, and my husband ended up standing at the front desk for about 20 minutes because the staff member kept assisting other guests instead of completing his transaction. That was frustrating and could have been handled much more efficiently. More concerning is the lack of enforcement of safety guidelines. While some lifeguards at the slides are attentive and doing a great job, others appear distracted--on their phones or wearing headphones--and not ensuring the area is clear before the next person goes down. We've also seen ongoing issues, including children throwing rocks into the waters from the landscaping, spilling drinks in the pools, roughhousing, and tossing balls. On one occasion, a guest even had a dog in a float in the lazy river. Staff stated it was an emotional support animal, but regardless, this raises concerns about cleanliness and overall pool safety. We understand that many guests are on vacation and enjoying themselves, but for residents who pay a significant amount to access these amenities, there should be a higher level of consistency and professionalism from staff. With better supervision and enforcement of rules, this could be an even more enjoyable experience for everyone.

The second time around however we got a room that smelled like pure wet mop, told the front desk and told us there was nothing they can do but air the room out?? Couldn't even transfer us to a different room. Aside from that the service here is actually good, this is an enjoyable hotel and the bar by the pool has the best food and drinks. They have mini golf and zip lines, and the Starbucks by the opposite pool is the best! And so was the girl working there.

Subject: Cleaner than a Truck Stop Bathroom - And Just as Honest!…read more Hi fellow Yelp users I couldn't help but notice that keeping truck stops clean and tidy is a noble endeavor--much like what I'm about to share with you. Just like you wouldn't want to stumble upon a dusty truck stop restroom, I believe we all deserve to steer clear of deceptive business practices. That's why I wanted to reach out and shed some light on a few shifty tactics being used by Capital Vacations. While their glossy brochures might look as appealing as a freshly washed diner, the reality is often more like a roadside mystery. From misleading promotions to surprise fees that hit harder than a pothole, I've seen some practices that would make even the most seasoned truck driver raise an eyebrow. I will be fair the employees who work there are sweet and seem to be apologetic for the situation that Capital Vacations should be ashamed of. Let me know if you'd like to chat. I promise to keep it cleaner than a truck stop restroom!

Just a couple hours before the 4:00pm allowed arrival time and even after they sent multiple private messages warning us of possible penalties and even added hidden fees they were to collect. Here is a list: --$50 if pool door is locked --$100 charge for any garbage left on pails or placed in barrels incorrectly --$90 fee to arrive an hour early --$1000 penalty if alarm is accidentally triggered. (At this point we called for details. We learned the alarm doesn't have a cover--it can be triggered by accidentally pressing the buttons. When we expressed our discomfort, we were told that if we didn't like the policy we could cancel our reservation. We begrudgingly accepted the policy.) --$290 for the dogs. This one came at about 5pm. The number of guests and our dogs were listed on the receipt. They texted privately that they realized they didn't include the charge in the price and they wanted to collect it. We texted a picture of the receipt to the Tropical Properties broker, but she refused to drop the pet charge. We were still about an hour away by car. We spoke to customer service at Air B&B and were reassured that we had until midnight to cancel the reservation, given that we had purchased the insurance offered by Air B&B. (BTW THE INSURANCE--A THIRD PARTY NAMED GENERALI TRAVEL INSURANCE--DENIED OUR CLAIM AFTER AIR B&B WALKED US THROUGH THE STEPS TO COLLECT OUR REIMBURSEMENT.) After cancellation we saw on the receipt that Tropical Properties were also planning to collect a $300 resort fee upon our arrival. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND renting any properties associated with Tropical Properties. And although our family has had many successful Air B&B experiences in the past--this was the first time we needed to file a claim through the insurance they offered. We feel the results are unjust and the insurance was a waste of money.
