Emarald island resort is a massive resort featuring condos and homes for rent or purchase…read moreconveniently located just a few miles away from the Disney parks. Very large neighborhood that seemed to have as many live in residents as it did tourists like ourselves who was renting a house while in town for our daughters cheer comp and to visit some Disney parks. As you pull into this large gated community you are met with lovely dolphin water fountains and 24/7 on site security. Once you pass through a security you see the fountain which is the center point for a roundabout. The forsr exit leads you into houses the second exit into soem condos and more homes which are further down the road. The 3rd exit will take you into the welcome center. The welcome center is where I assume condo renters check in but it also where you get your badge for the severity gate. In that welcome center is a fitness area, free on site putt putt course, an outdoor swimming pool and access to the first of 3 neighborhood playgrounds. Across the street was a small, simple and nice email as use land resort walking trail. We stayed in a house called stitch magic in the back of the neighborhood a few miles from the welcome center so we didn't spend hardly any time there. Although on one visit we noticed the pool Area had a live dj and a pretty busy tiki bar. The free putt putt course and walking trails were a nice and fun touch. Our house we rented was very large and very clean and well maintained. You walk in and imemditly to the left is one of the queen sized bedrooms. To the right was a bathroom, wall in laundry and entrance to the garage. The garage was turned into a game room and features a ping on my table, dart board and other gaming options. Walking back inside and continuing on to the left Last the first bedroom was a dining area off the kitchen with a large table. Off that room was a full Kitchen and another small dining area and table. If you. I've on past the kitchen you walk into a large open living room With nice couches and a large tv. Off that room was access to the main level master bedroom with a king sized bed and personal bathroom. Also off the living room was a set of stairs that takes you up to 3 more bedrooms and 2 more bathrooms. The bedroll Immediately to the right features two kids beds decked with Pixar deformations. The room next to that was a Disney princess themed room with a queen sized bed. Back out in the hall way the room next to the princess room was another full bathroom. Next to that bathroom was another bedroom with a queen sized bedroom that also boasted its own personal full bathrom. Downstairs off the kitchen dining room And master bedroom you had sliding doors that take you into your own personal covered pool that was a nice size and featured some on site water inflatables. Overall we had an amazing stay here with the house we rented called "Stitch magic". Very large and clean. Very close to the ESPN WideWorld of Sports where my daughter was cheering and very close to Disney parks and all kinds of good dining options. The resort had really cool And nice on site amenities. My older daughters enjoyed walking to the nearby on-site playground as the one here was more secluded and not very busy. So something enjoyable for everyone while boasting good comfort as well.

Surprisingly enough I was very disappointed , the house smell like mildew, the carport clearly NOT clean. And one of the sinks in the upstairs bathroom backs up with black particles. The security lock to the pool area is hanging off from the wall. I've added the pictures to this email. I've contact property manager to fix the sink of course I got a voicemail. I had to cover the furniture to sit down because it's NASTY!!!! I was waiting to send response and photos at the end of my stay. However my family and I are disappointed. I'm sure as we continue our week. I will be updating the home website with my pictures and reviews. I would hate for ANYONE else to be in the position. To my surprise I couldn't add my review to their website. And when I checked a few weeks later the owner updated the website site with a great review during the dates that I stayed at the property. False advertising!!!!

There is a Walt-mart less than 2 minutes away, for all your basic needs. You are not in a hotel. THE BAD: The gate keepers remind me of Border Agents at immigration checkpoints, if you have guests visiting it's a little of a hassle. You are renting from homeowners, so, keep that in mind, they want their peace and quiet, so, you really can't get too loud like playing music too loud and such. We checked in on a Saturday and the water slides and splash area we closed, and they remained closed for the entire week! That's is BS! THE UGLY: A lot of this homes have turned their two car garage into the play room area. So, the entire garage is set up like a man cave, which is awesome, except that the garage doors in this particular home weren't sealed properly. And we found a lot of bugs creeping their way in. It's humid it's Florida, I understand but just keep that in mind. And found some cockroaches inside the house too. Overall, not a good experience maybe someone else will. Judge for yourself.

It rained a lot and there were worms in the pool as well as small worms around the hot tub. Other then that it was a pretty chilled stay. I had no complaints. Overall, my experience was very disappointing. As an active-duty member of the U.S. military, I…read morebooked this property well in advance and expected it to be clean, properly maintained, and ready for my family's arrival. Unfortunately, that was not the case. When we arrived, the previous guests' trash was still outside in the trash can. I reported it immediately because I understand guests can be held responsible for issues like this. Inside the home, the kitchen drawers and several other areas were dirty, the air vents were covered in dust, and the overall cleanliness did not meet expectations. One of the main reasons we chose this property was the theater room. However, the theater screen was torn down when we arrived. I reported the issue immediately and requested that someone come repair it because my family was looking forward to using it. Unfortunately, no one ever came to address the problem. On our first day, we found a small black snake in the pool. A maintenance worker came the following day to add chemicals, but the pool should have been cleaned and serviced before our arrival. There was also no pool net available for us to remove bugs or debris from the water. In addition, the bedroom sheets did not appear to be clean. The air conditioning was not working in the downstairs bedroom by the pool, where my 75-year-old mother was sleeping, making her stay very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the ice machine stopped working during our stay. I documented these issues with photographs and reported them during my stay, yet many of the problems were never resolved. I will be submitting a Memorandum for Record (MFR) to the company along with the supporting photos and will be requesting at least a 50% refund due to the condition of the property and the lack of timely response. If the matter cannot be resolved fairly, I will consider pursuing legal action. This experience was extremely disappointing and fell well below the standard that was advertised. I hope the company takes these concerns seriously and improves its property maintenance, cleanliness, and customer service so future guests do not experience the same issues.
