Harriet came on high recommendations from a friend and I would recommend her to anyone. Friendly team and excellent service. Harriet is fast and my gel nails always look fab and last longer than any others I've had in the past. You also get offered a complimentary glass of bubbles which goes down a tear while getting your nails pampered. Gel nails cost £22 with removal of previous set included. I recently had my gels off which is £5 or free with any service, so I opted for a file and polish which cost £8 and lasted literally 10 days before it started to chip. Amazing! You can book online and I would highly recommend Harriet's service for nails. I can't comment on other beauticians as haven't experienced their services.

Conversation with Harriet is never stilted but not too much; she's normal and friendly and down to earth. She doesn't judge me for my low pain threshold and gets the job done quickly and as pain free as possible. It's excellent value for money and a lovely salon too. A very personal service, and you even get a discount in the week running up to and just after your birthday! Couldn't recommend them more!

They're a very qualified nair bar, with most of their equipments and treatments imported from US. The staff is constantly attending seminars and meetings learning new techniques and advancements in the industry, giving the customers the very latest designs and the likes. Moreover they're always up for a friendly chat and you can even go home making a new friend! You can also just pop in for some free nail and hand advice which is readily given by all.

Went recently to have my nails done. They accommodated me quickly and began to work immediately…read more Although i was greeted with very friendly staff, I felt the young lady that attended to me was very soft spoken at time which made it a bit difficult to hear her over all the people cramped inside this small salon and all speaking relatively loud. I'll give a quick breakdown of my experience and treatment below. Staff - Personally i loved it. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I took note of the clients going in many of which we 15-21 in age. Staff members struck up conversations with most customers. I did tho feel that they were just churning out as many people as they could. Atmosphere - As mentioned clients were loud (appropriate for their ages) Decor was very tired. Far too small to accommodate all the furniture and people on top of all that. some people were even waiting in the doorway. Very dusty and alot of nail dust flying everywhere. Quality - Simply, O.K but nothing to write home about. Thought they were ok but upon further inspection outside in better lighting there was alot of fuzz trapped under the gel polish. You can see the corners of my nails peeking from the edge of my cuticles. So the acrylic wasnt places all over the nail and neither was the polish. Those edges should have been filed back a bit. Pricing - Pricing for Acrylic Gel with Extensions plus a gel polish came to £45 which I should was pretty standard. But the quality fell short. Overall- Not a bad experience but would go again unless there was no where else.

Trying a new hair dresser is always a bit scary for me as I have alot of big frizzy ginger hair…read more But as I hadn't had it cut for about four months it became to time to try something new. Late appointment? Not a problem. Seen on time? Yes. Good service? Yes. Too much "hairdresser" chat? No. Good hairstyle? YES! Perfecto! Shall be revisiting!

I'd been to this hairdressers a few times and always been quite happy with the results…read more Unfortunately this time boy who had previously been doing the sweeping up and hair washing was now doing the cutting. I really really wanted him to be good but unfortunately he wasn't, I'm not sure if it was just inexperience and he'll improve with time. He didn't listen to what I asked him to do. I have incredibly fine hair and am desperate for anything that will give it more volume. He asked me to remove my necklace (a thin chain) while he cut my hair, I'd never been asked to do that before but I soon found out why as he really dug the scissors in uncomfortably close to the back of neck. He took an incredibly long time to cut it, wandering off to consult with another junior worker who was dyeing someone's hair under his supervision. When I saw what he'd done, which was basically sculpt my hair flat to my head like a skull cap, I told him I'd asked him for volume. He shrugged and told me it was too difficult with my hair not in a dismissive way but more like there was nothing more he could do all while stood next to a poster proclaiming the numerous volume inducing products available. I'm not saying I want hairdressers to do the hard sell with me with products but was hoping there was something that could be done. I'm not proud of this but I cried when I got up to leave. Disappointment and the sheer frustration of someone just not listening to you got to me. Fortunately the manager who took my payment, saw I was upset and took me upstairs to explain the things that could be done to improve the cut in terms of styling. I don't think this was too much to ask of him. I haven't been back there since and I'm not sure I will. As much as I would like to say it's just hair, it's important and you're trusting someone to take scissors to part of you so you need to trust them. The rest of the hairdressers I've seen there have always been good so I think it's just a bad experience but unfortunately it's really turned me off there which is a shame.
