I step back in the spa and ask the receptionist what my total was she said $57.00. I then asked her what the balance was on the gift card and she tells me the card only had $57.00 and she kept the gift card. I thought that is strange...so I call my husband and ask him how much he purchased the gift card for and he said $80. I go back in and advise the receptionist that the gift card had $80. She then tries to explain that the way their system is set up that there is no way of her knowing what the balance is on the gift card. I thought that was very strange. She then asked "how much did you say was in the gift card" and I said $80 she then hands me the gift card and says so then your balance is $23. I thought that was extremely shady.
