Fresh ginger gives it some kick, and the paneer was perfect, The malai kofta opted for just two fried dough balls, much larger than normal and very tender in the center. Coconut sweetens the sauce to a near dessert-like flavor (European dessert not American). Great atmosphere and very friendly people. Perfect find at the heart of Göttingen!

I tried the paneer kabob and the butter chicken. The paneer was beautifully plates and both dishes were incredibly flavorful and delicious, especially on the fluffy basmati rice. The sweet naan (stuffed with sweet pistachio paste) was amazing as well. The staff are so nice. The interior is nice, they light a candle at your table for you as well :)

We had seen the restaurant walking by, went to get our car but when we couldn't find parking we were told where we could put the car nearby (parked illegally) in order to keep an eye on it in case someone would come to ticket (or tow) it. My pineapple curry had just the right sweet spiciness, plenty of food. The kids' curry portions were generous and they loved it. Prices were reasonable.

The waiter and the cook understood my order and respected my request to have something NOT spicy. I love Indian food but normally it's so spicy that I can't finish it, and it's rare to find a place that serves wonderful food that doesn't burn my mouth. I had the Chana Masala and it was GREAT! The samosas were wonderful, too. I would also recommend the chai tea and the fluffy, hollow bread thing (I can't remember what it was called, so ask). The waiters were really friendly and seemed happy to have customers in the restaurant, which is refreshing to find here in Germany. I just saw that they also deliver, which is why the phone was ringing so often. The ladies room was clean and had new tiles and fixtures, so I assume the men's room was also clean. I would recommend coming by bus, bike, or taxi because it's so far away from the city center.

Die besondere Zubereitung der Speisen wird zudem an die jeweils herrschenden Wetterverhältnisse angepasst, da jedes von den insgesamt 21 Gewürzen eine andere wohltuende Wirkung auf den Körper hat - so wird etwa bei kalter Witterung der Gewürzmischung etwas mehr Ingwer, bei feuchtem Wetter dagegen mehr Nelken-Anteil hinzugefügt. Auch Gewürze wie Kardamom, Kurkuma oder Knoblauch sind feste Bestandteile der Küche im India Haus. Das freundliche Personal empfiehlt dazu die passenden indischen Weine, Joghurt-Lassi sowie englischen Tee oder Yogi-Tee.
