I have only been to this Salon once so far, but I definitely plan on returning! I found Scissor…read moreSisters because 2 days before my wedding my regular establishment had me waiting over an hour for a haircut, even with a booked appointment! And not one person there had the decency to approach me and inform me what was going on- I had to complain several times, eventually being told I'd be waiting an additional 25 minutes! This was with an appointment. Anyhow, that's a separate review entirely. After a horrid experience at a Salon that I was very comfortable and satisfied with, I was scrambling to find a place to cut my hair just 2 days before I needed to get married. I remembered a friend recommending Scissor Sisters, so I figured it was worth a try. It was late in the afternoon and most of the salons I contacted were not able to take me, mind you. I walked in and explained to the very nice receptionist my predicament. She was sympathetic to what had just happened, understood the urgency of my situation. Furthermore, she was honest and forthcoming, stating it was the end of the day, and most of the hairdressers were either done for the day or finishing their last appointment but she'd see what she could do. I watched as she approached everyone in the salon attempting to help me. Obviously, some said they were unable to, or if I couldn't find anyone else, come back to them- completely understandable. But it was amazing to see the effort on their part, considering what I had just went through. Especially because here I was a walk in/new customer, no guarantee I'd return, compared to how I was treated at a Salon I had been to at least 10 times. One hairdresser said she had about 15 minutes (that I'm sure she could have used as a break before her last appointment) but was more than happy to take me. The haircut was fantastic. She was professional, took her time, assured me my hair would be perfect for the wedding. And it definitely was. Even though I was being squeezed in as a walk in before her last appointment, I did not feel rushed for one second! It was also honestly the best haircut I've received in the past 2 years living down here. I highly recommend Scissor Sisters. The customer service, professionalism, and skill level far exceed that of any Salon I have experienced in the area.

It's so easy to go online and sign in and be ahead of everyone, I got my hair cut done by Michelle…read moreand she was very nice. I think she got the vibe that I don't really like talking during my haircut, so it was nice. She cut my hair very fast and it came out nice. I'm definitely coming back whenever I need a quick cut

Got there when it opened. Was sat right away. Stylist did not follow my request. Asked my opinion…read moreand I calmly stated how its uneven. She told me I insulted her by answering her question (like an adult). She then proceeds to tell me that she can't explain my hair cut to me because I wouldn't understand. The manager and another stylist were both in the same room. I again, in a calm manner explain that she is actually insulting me buy insulting my intelligence, insinuating that I can't understand her explanation of hair cuts. She kicks me out of her chair. The manager never identified herself until I asked to speak to one. She claimed she had no knowledge of the situation, all the while her employee continues to interrupt our conversation accusing me of being insulting while raising her voice. Never once did the supervisor ask her employee to stop or even attempt to correct her behavior. The manager did offer to attempt to correct my messed up hair cut. I again calmly said no thank you and let her know that I with not be returning. The distraught employee gleefully celebrated with a loud and clean "GOOD!". I ask the manager who obviously heard it if that was professional, who looks at me and quietly says " not really". Almost as if she's afraid of her own employee. I'd give it a zero if I could. Not sure if I would call that a business.
