Very happy to have found a new hair salon for my hair care needs! Donna is the owner and stylist i chose. I was VERRY happy w her coloring and high lighting skills. She has only cut my hair once to date, but was able to keep to My last cut and I was very happy w that! As I have a very no frills cut that is wash n wear! My hi-lights color was lighter than previous stylist, but I really like it! And will continue w this color for future! I look forward to continuing here w Donna for many years to come! read more

I don't normally leave reviews, but i wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else and had to share this experience. My sister went to Bella Donna yesterday to get her hair colored for the first time. She asked for a natural caramel and subtle blonde highlights, and walked out with bleach blonde hair. After sitting two hours in the chair, excited to see her new style..she sees gold streaks in her front roots and thats when i called the salon to find out what was going on. My sister was crying in the chair and after receiving attitude and attitude on the phone, they gave her a new "stylist" to fix it. She was told by the male John, "Honey were the professionals, let us take care of you." After another painful 3 hours, her hair was soaking wet and they applied product to "tone her roots" and told her to go home and wash it. They told her to pay full price because they fixed the problem (meanwhile couldn't even wash and dry her hair for her). They refused to give her a discount or any sympathy for the mistake and damage they caused. Hours later, I received a text from my sister saying her hair looks even whiter then before. When i contacted my friend, she told me that they probably didn't deactivate the bleach and her hair could burn off if she didn't wash it. She shampooed it 3 times to try to prevent this from happening. However, the damage was already done and her hair is extremely fried, frail, and dry. We went back today to try to get a refund for the damages. This is when i met the John, the man who was extremely rude to my sister yesterday and didn't fail to continue to be rude. He began to blame my sister for being indecisive about what she wanted and did not admit at all the stylist made a mistake. He was very condescending and rude. He finally called the owner, Donna who finally arrived a half hour later. Donna at first would not invite us into her salon, but i requested we stand inside because it was extremely hot outside. When we finally went inside she began to explain how her hair looks good and it just needs to be toned. She did admit that it was wrong she went home with product in her hair and wet, however, did not admit that her white damaged hair was wrongly done. She did not give us a refund and was very rude and in denial about the attitudes of the employees. We will be taking this matter to court and suing for our money back, damages, and what it will take to restore this hair back to a healthy state. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. The employees are extremely rude, entitled, and have absolutely no idea what they are doing or how to admit they're wrong. read more

I'm a serious pain in the arse when it comes to my hair (thanks to a really bad perm story where I was left looking like G.I. Jane on crack. No, I'm not kidding). It gave me salon-phobia and I vowed NEVER to go in another hair salon.....ever. Cheri convinced me otherwise and took me on about 12 years ago. All I can say is, THANK YOU BABY JESUS! I wish there were more stars because I'd give Bella Donna 10+ stars! I travel for work and split my time between NY & S NJ. Due to a crazy week & family wedding-- I found myself missing all of my regularly scheduled appts up North. I was desperate and in need of an immediate appt. First off, I called for a color cut and happened to ask about eyelashes--- well, bingo , they do it all! Score Christine at the front desk was so empathetic to my plight and worked a miracle by scheduling everything right away at the LBI salon ( did I mention they have 3 locations ?!!!) Andrea did a great job matching my roots, gave me a much needed hair cut, and styled my hair so smooth , bouncy, & and frizz free-- ( she gets me :)). It was beautiful. Next I saw Amy, (who btw was offsite all day but agreed to come in just for my service ). Amy did my eyelash fill, she was so kind and patient. I looked like a million bucks when she finished. Rude and obnoxious staff. I had a 1245 appointment with Amy for color. I walked in to a rude greeting from John and was told to sit down. Amy called me over to her chair and asked if I wanted a touch up. I said I wanted all over color. She sat me down and started running her fingers through my hair yelling at me (loud enough for the whole salon to hear) " I don't have time for this" "I'm not putting my name on this". Then her and John proceeded to yell across the salon "what did she ask for over the phone?" Which John condescendingly replied "SHE asked for all over color" Amy was yelling across the salon "I don't have time for this! Do you see?" Which he replied "I know, I see it from here". So, I asked if she could just do a touch up (which she originally thought I was getting anyway). She refused and took the apron off of me and told me she didn't have time and I "should have been more specific over the phone". I've never felt so humiliated. The owner should probably send her staff to a customer experience class. I would NEVER recommend this place EVER. read more

I came in today to get a trim & style for my birthday. Karissa is great, she did a wonderful job, added layers, was quick and very neat. Also great pricing because I have payed almost double at other salons for just a cut. She was very sweet and everyone else was very nice as well. And it was clean! read more

HORRIBLE SALON. I came into Bella Donna to get my hair colored for the first time. I was so excited to be having this done and I never imagined that it would come out a disaster. I came in and asked for caramel and dirty blonde highlights. I showed the lady a picture of what I wanted and said that she would be able to do it. Needless to say, she couldn't. After my hair dried I realized she didn't do anything that I had asked. She did not put in any caramel or dirty blonde. My hair had GOLD streaks coming from my roots. It looked horrible. I was then handed off to a different stylist, Sue, to try to fix this horrible mistake. When I was explaining what I wanted to Sue, I was then approached by John. Immediately he was very rude to me and practically yelling at me in the salon. He said in his condescending tone, "Honey we're the professionals let us take care of you." I couldn't believe that he would speak to his costumers that way, he was acting like a child. However, Sue claimed that she could fix the problem and get my hair how I wanted it. After another 3 hours, I was sent home with soaking wet hair. And she put product on my head to tone my roots and told me to wash it when I got home. I sat in their salon for a total of 5 hours and they made me pay full price and refused to listen to all the mistakes their hairdressers had made. That's when it became clear that they don't care at all about their costumers at all. My hair is naturally dark brown so obviously I couldn't see the color of the highlights until my hair is dry. So, later on I realized that my hair was a bleach blonde and white. It is horrifying. Another few hours go by and I realize that my hair keeps getting whiter. My sister contacted her friend and she said that they probably didn't deactivate the bleach and it could burn off my hair and that I needed to wash my hair at least 3 times to try to get all of it out. But it's too late my hair is already extremely fried, frail and dry.I do not recommend this salon to anyone. Two different stylists destroyed my hair and the attitudes of all their employees were unacceptable. Do not go to Bella Donna. read more

Donna the owner is happy to let you leave the salon with ruined hair! She is the least caring Salon business owner I have ever encountered. I brought my daughter in for blond lightening and the stylist turned her hair bright yellow! After speaking to Donna the owner and getting much attitude in her part she told us to come back in. Upon our arrival we were bombarded by the staff telling us how perfect blond the color is and they could not fix it unless I was willing to pay to have it redone! After already spending $200 for the botched job I was not giving them any more. read more

If I could put no stars I would.Went in for eyelash extensions to try them out because I needed a fill and my normal place was booked. The girl did exactly what I asked for and paid full price not for a fill and needless to say they all fell out within a week! I've been getting eyelash extensions done for years and this has never happened before. Not worth the money,not worth the time. Will never go back for anything just because of this experience. Will be sticking to my original place where I know this won't happen. read more

Workers are extremely rude and confrontational, don't listen to your requests or when you tell them you don't like what they're doing. Have gotten 2 haircuts there in the past few months and will never be going back. Not what I asked for a looks horrible. Stay away. read more

My first time going to the salon I made an appointment over the phone, and when I got there, the receptionist told me they didnt have enough time to blow dry my hair. I guess they didnt book the appointment properly. I needed a hair cut badly so I had it done anyway. My hair is down to my mid- back and the stylist I had, John, literally told me he doesnt do layered cuts on long hair which is what I wanted. So he just gave me a blunt cut. I paid full price, went home to dry my hair and it felt like he didnt even cut anything. From start to finish my experience was very unprofessional, and I wouldnt go back there again. read more
