Got there when it opened. Was sat right away. Stylist did not follow my request. Asked my opinion and I calmly stated how its uneven. She told me I insulted her by answering her question (like an adult). She then proceeds to tell me that she can't explain my hair cut to me because I wouldn't understand. The manager and another stylist were both in the same room. I again, in a calm manner explain that she is actually insulting me buy insulting my intelligence, insinuating that I can't understand her explanation of hair cuts. She kicks me out of her chair. The manager never identified herself until I asked to speak to one. She claimed she had no knowledge of the situation, all the while her employee continues to interrupt our conversation accusing me of being insulting while raising her voice. Never once did the supervisor ask her employee to stop or even attempt to correct her behavior. The manager did offer to attempt to correct my messed up hair cut. I again calmly said no thank you and let her know that I with not be returning. The distraught employee gleefully celebrated with a loud and clean "GOOD!". I ask the manager who obviously heard it if that was professional, who looks at me and quietly says " not really". Almost as if she's afraid of her own employee. I'd give it a zero if I could. I think she got the vibe that I don't really like talking during my haircut, so it was nice. She cut my hair very fast and it came out nice. Brought my son in last minute (completely my fault, I did not realize the time) but Sue took us & gave my son a great cut. It was my son's first haircut & she was wonderful. Worked quick & worked with us, his parents, while we got it done. Everyone was very sweet & really helped us out especially so close to closing. horrible staff. skylar was a condescending judgmental and ignorant poor excuse for a human. This is a totally 100% family UNFRIENDLY establishment and definitely not worth the price to take two minutes to cut my children's hair. Definitely not a place to bring a child with sensory needs who is on the spectrum, even after being told what needed to be done while the haircut was in process. I've gone here in the past because I knew someone who worked here, but now I probably won't go back after today. I went in and got in immediately, but the woman who did my hair was clearly disinterested. I asked for 3 inches off ALL of my hair and she didn't even touch the front so I basically still have split ends/hair that should have been trimmed. Her "reasoning" was that the back now "matched" the front. I also asked for my hair to be thinned out because I have very thick, unmanageable hair and she did a quick thinning of the sides and when she said she was done I asked her if she did the back (where my hair is heaviest/thickest) and she said she did; let me tell you that she did NOT. They don't even do the quick wash in the beginning anymore. Now I see why I got in right away. Not to mention this woman was rough and shoved my head down/to the side instead of being gentle. I swear I couldn't have been in there more than 5 minutes tops from the time I entered to the time I walked out. My friend even asked what happened because I came out so fast. If you decide to go here don't go to the middle aged dark haired woman with glasses. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because I've come here in the past with no issues. read more

Horrible place for kids. My son wouldn't sit down by himself so I offered to sit with him. The stylist response was you can but if he can't sit I can't do the cut. Ok how about a different approach like. We'll try our best to do what we can. So extremely negative. Those of you that have kids with sensory problems can relate how ultimately stressed out I already was :(. I walked out so upset because I used to love this place. 2 Great haircuts, however one stylist was very pleasant and professional, and the other was not. She was very short, somewhat rude, very unpleasant, and seemed annoyed to be there. Eye rolling, head shaking, never cracking a smile is enough for me to take my business elsewhere. Went here to get bangs and walked out with side burns. Needless to say I am a female. When I told the hairstylist how unhappy I was all she said was I didn't realize how thick your hair was. She didn't listen to anything for what I asked her for. The women that work here are rude and could careless about their work. I don't recommend! You pay for what you get! read more

I needed a quick haircut on my way to a meeting (ticket number 230768). They saw me immediately and gave me one of the best cuts I have had in years...in only 18 minutes. The stylist, Christine (Chris) was fantastic!!!!!!!!! If only I lived closer then she would be my new stylist. I am seriously considering an hour and a half drive from Philadelphia the next time I need a haircut. I paid $15 for a quality haircut that normally cost me $35!!!!!! read more

Have not been here for a while. Went back with my daughter and the staff are young and cold. Definitely got what I paid for the one girl that cut my daughters hair disappeared then resurfaced and waited until someone else was free to take me, since I was next. Do she could take a customer that requested her. All the time she spent messing around she could have cut my hair and anothers persons hair. LAZY. Not going back. Very unprofessional people. Get you in and get you out in five minutes. All they are concerned with is if you have an appointment. Very rude staff. We take our elderly father in and they are just plain rude so I decided to purchase a hair cutting kit and I will cut his hair myself from now on. Horrible place. Awful to say the least. I walk in to a rude staff who continued to completely mess up my haircut and shave my head. They shaved my head off a full 2 when i asked for a 4...i am way to embarassed to step outside my home and the woman that cut my hair should be fired. Horrible establishment and i would never tell anyone to go there. I would actually recommend anyone have hellen keller or possibly a chimpanzee and you would still have a better experience than i did at this great clips.
