I have been going here since they started there business and I have noticed there customer service…read moreand the quality of the service's in general has severely declined in the past few years and to the point where I actually stopped going and started giving my business elsewhere. Not to mention I had two derma-plating facials where the aesthetician tweezed my eyebrows without my consent and I didn't say anything until the second time because she took nearly half my eyebrows off and I had to get them tattooed on because of it. It was very expensive and could have easily been avoided if they were more selective on some of there hires. Also My poor customer service experiences was not an isolated incident but quite a few visits over a period of time and with multiple staff, including the owner's husband Adam, a receptionist and two aestheticians. I also think they should have a female doing there consultation's because a lot of us have trouble feeling comfortable confiding in a male and I've heard that complaint from quite a few people. I also am not a fan of the new location and it's a major downgrade being that it's near downtown and the parking is awful. Also there new Botox and filler service is insanely overpriced and for someone very new at that service. Word definitely goes around and at nu you weight loss center it is so much more affordable and Mindy has been doing injections for decades. I really don't mean to be harsh but they are very much needing to make improvements because they are losing long time customers like myself.

Second star, got to the IPL appointment. Turns out, from a second opinion that the state of Wisconsin does not need aestheticians to have any certification. It was brought to my attention that Amy at forever young should have never, ever, even tried IPL on anyone of Hispanic origin, even if skin tone is on lighter side. After the excruciating experienced it made me wonder, unfortunately after the fact. I found out about something that is called the Fitzpatrick scale through the second opinion profesional. He explained it very clear. After this knowledge Amy, the aesthetician should have NEVER put my daughter through IPL, my daughter smelled the burning of her skin, and it hurt tremendously. Forever young had a responsibility to inform us, but according to the second opinion, they didn't inform us because they probably don't know what they are doing, which makes me wonder about certification by the state of Wisconsin. Basic training would cover this very basic knowledge. Fortunately we stopped the treatment. (Funny thing is my daughter wanted to go back) to just deal with it, since we didn't know any better. You have to understand the difficult journey we have been through to understand the rationale behind her thinking that day. But thankfully the aesthetician, Amy said and I quote, " I don't feel comfortable," probably the best thing she did and said. Finally, we ended up leaving, the sad thing is there was no compassion, no empathy. No answers. Just "have a nice day." "Maybe once her face clears up we could try micro-needling," I am disappointed in this establishment. And I am glad we have a second opinion, through this horrific experience I wouldn't have found a different establishment that cares, and wants to help us. Truly, help us and not just take our time and money. This is our honest experience with FY and would do my homework before visiting here. They have a review where someone was burned. I ignored it. I haven't even gotten a call back to see how my daughter is doing or feeling. But that's ok. I learned from this. Hope my experience can help someone on the fence about visiting here.

Again she said I understand if you can't come. Why would I want to try again when she has bailed 2 x already. Very poor customer service, I would never go back. I've gotten a variety of treatments and services, including my regular Brazilian, occasional full leg waxing, facial, dermaplaning, eyelash tint & lift, etc. There are not enough good words in the English language to describe how great Shana is! (I could start at "A" with Amazing and Awesome, go to "B" with Brilliant and Brave and Beautiful, "C" for Caring, "D" for Delightful, and so on, but I'd be limiting myself to only a few adjectives, and Shana deserves so much more!) Shana has a wonderful way of making you feel comfortable (not that easy when you've got your knickers off and someone ripping hair off your girl parts, let me tell you!) and cared for with love and attention. She has great advice and suggestions, and always tries to answer my nutty irrelevant beauty questions ("Shana, please tell me how I can get rid of these hollow half-moons under my eyes? Shana, why does hair do THIS weird thing? Shana, what even ARE parabens?" Now that she's started her own Spa, I think her services will really shine all the brighter because she's making all the decisions about what products to use, what services to offer, etc. My recent visit was probably one of the least irritating waxes I've ever had thanks to her fabulous post-procedure treatments, and believe it or not more than a week later, my hair has barely regrown!! (Shana, holy moly, don't use too much of that stuff or I won't have any hair left for you to wax!! XD) I could go on and on about how much I love Shana, but if you've read this far, you can probably already tell. Don't delay! Book with Shana today! You won't regret it! I got fastest pedicure of my life from staff that spoke maybe 2 words while she whizzed through process. They weren't busy at all at the time. Then turned me over to her boss for fill. It is so very rude and condescending to speak in their jibberish. They make their living off US citizens so speak the language . They were making jokes at my expense while I was there. So unprofessional and by sounds of things I am not only one with concerns. I left a tip which I regret, the young staff was particularly rude , which there is no excuse for. The owner kept saying honey in a condescending way, again uncalled for. It was not good atmosphere , the clients were pleasant at least . I should given them the tip. Not a pleasant visit and I will be passing it along .
