I have to say, after coming here for many years and being a solid buyer for your store, the favoritism is one that really stands out as a major insult considering I spend around $18k-20k a year at your store alone. I was waiting patiently to look at some jewelry, a random regular walks in, came over, and the workers helped her first. She came in after me, yet I was told I had to wait until a cashier was available... so I did and was looked over. The buyer asked me what I was looking at as she looked at several pieces, I told her bc it wasn't much, she asked to see it, and bought it. Totally not ok. I also am now seeing some of your workers snapping photos of the garments/tags/doing research on selling platforms and on sale day having people come in and buy the garments for them. I get it, but still kind of not ok. Also the amount of replica luxury brands you're selling for real luxury designer retail prices is not a good look. In fact, I actually just bought what looked to be real pair of DOUBLE RL jeans for $40, had them authenticated, and sure enough they are Chinese fake from Santee alley. I just wasted $40 on a pair of $2 jeans and you have no returns. Legally, you do have to refund buyers if the garments they are purchasing are replicas as it is a federal offense to sell replicas. I'm not asking for a refund, instead what I am asking is for you to really be careful bc $40 is a lot of money for 1 pair of used jeans. It's my fault for not doing research prior. I was in a hurry and thought they would work for a western model I had today. Now I can't use them and had to spend more money on another pair of jeans. Please, I love your store and I will continue to come in, but take care of your community and really have your pricers do their research on items that you have marked incredibly high for what they are going for on eBay/poshmark. Used frame jeans should not be $79 in your store. Used express dresses that are from 3 years ago with stains and piling should not be $40. Your pricers will make or break your success. Their pricing strategy is going to have your items take up valuable space that other garments that may sell for a reasonable asking price could be occupying. I'm giving you advice bc I too am in the fashion industry. I'm a solo $1.8m annual income owner. I know what works and what doesn't. I've been in the fashion resale/movie rental space since 1999 and have been very successful doing it. I love your concept and your location for the community. Just take this as an outsider looking in on what can help you and your company be better than the rest. read more

(Writing this while in the store) This place has gotten greedy, it used to actually be a good thrift but i came back after a few months to everything being priced way more than it should, like what hoodie is $20 in a thrift? There is some good stuff occasionally which is why i added the extra star but besides that, this thrift sucks now. The people are okay, no problems with them but no kindness from them either so its whatever, but even then they get first picks when the donations come in. How are you gonna overprice your stuff and pick out the affordable good stuff? If yall want a good nice thrift just go to the one on Artesia called "Quality Thrift" because nobody deserves a trash thrift like this. read more

Stuff they is great and prices and deals are amazing but no strollers like come on, I went shopping here for 1 month old baby and he was asleep, one of the workers came up to me and said no strollers allowed and I went to park my stroller and grabbed their cart that they have but my car seat didn't even fit in there the carts were to small so I grabbed my stroller back and only wanted to shop in the baby section which is right in front of the cashiers. I told the worker and he told me to figure it out when I told him the car seat didn't fit and it made me mad cause what he said after was no ok, he said "they he's not allowed than" when he said I got so mad and left. Service was rude, I am a first time mom and I never had my blood boiling this much, as a parent you want to buy they the world and protect them but in this cause I need to protect more than buy read more

MEAN! They are plain mean. The prices are outrageous considering everything they have is essentially free to them. I've been there twice and both times I've regretted it. The cashiers and employees hate their lives and take it out on the customers. They've charged me incorrectly for their "50% tags" and refused to price adjust. Thrifting has lost its meaning thanks to these places. read more

Do not allow baby strollers in store. Expect you carry your baby around and shop at the same time

The store is pretty clean, considering it's a second hand store. The staff varies with how friendly they can be and helpful. Some push their way around and do not say excuse me others make small talk. The clothing selection is decent. Prices have gone up since they opened. Kind of sucks for those that shop there for their own use and not resell. read more

They won't let you in with a stroller for a new born, they expect me to make the baby walk. So stupid and rude read more

They didn't let me in with my stroller, cashier kicking me out was very rude. Ridiculous store policy.

The thrift store looks clean, but the fact that they won't let you in with a stroller is the dumbest and stupidest thing ever.

THEY WONT ALLOW YOU WITH A STROLLER they act like you are stealing if you do. Manager says it's store policy for 12 years that's how they approach strollers and want you to put your baby in the cart and lay them on it with no comfort! No human care only money driven . What a shame I used to like coming here just like scavenger hunt with my daughters not anymore. read more

Wide selection of clothing, with good variety prices. I always tend to find the cutest fits for super cheap, but I do tend to look around all the aisles before I find a couple of great pieces. Who ever is running this place does not know business at all. I've been coming here for 5 years and I've had enough of there crap. First of a thrift store is supposed to be cheap these people will price tshirts and jackets at 20 dollars And they supposedly have deals with different tags but they only pick the crap tags . The people are rude. The place smells and items aren't clean just go to a better place that doesn't feel like a dust warehouse with ridiculous market prices Stay away OVER PRICED JUNK and like other people said it's all donations so why are you being a greedy piece of S"&@ read more

store is worse than goodwill, with the prices. than there is this employee that is just hiding waiting for a rack to come out and take away from customers . he is the rudest person ever . he is literally hiding behind the clothes not doing nothing 50% of the time . i've seen him hit people's carts on purpose if there in his way. extremely rude . its not the customers fault he doesnt get p***y . he is the worst employee i have ever seen at a thrift store . i dont know his name i just know he is always wearing los angeles rams clothing . tall with glasses . hope manager or owner sees this review, and takes disciplinary action . read more

I just got some jeans $22 and seen that the zipper doesn't work now I can return them or exchange them. I should've just went a got new ones for just a few bucks more! Ugh! Lesson learned read more

Decent things but a lot of prices are unfair, you got this stuff for free. Also you are in BELL CA. This isn't a big place to charge the locals those types of prices. You're capping on donated merchandise. The manager makes up the worst prices on the spot and does not honor discount tags. That doesn't drive up sales it drives people away. read more

I found a ps5 there for 100 bucks!!! the people working there were great!! i asked if it was the correct price and they said yes supposedly because su they tried to turn it on but it wouldn't work so I took it home and dusted it off and really cleand it because it was super dirty and after that I turned it on and it worked!!! best experience ever. read more

They have decent stuff. Usually go for movies, cds and vinyls, or books. Although prices may be a bit too much for a thrift store

This was a hard review to write, because I love thrifting. I've visited dozens of thrift stores in Los Angeles, and often I don't write yelp reviews unless something really sticks out. That being noted, I was super excited to try this thrift as it is fairly close to me. There is ample parking for free on the street or the parking lot in the back. The entrance also is from the back, which is a little confusing at first. When you enter, you immediately see a bunch of children's clothing all well organized on racks. On the left-hand side there is a very large selection of shoes, and tons of purses on the ends of the racks of clothes. As you enter, you realize how large the store actually is, it way bigger than I realized from other yelp reviews. It is a two-story building, but all of the clothing, shoes, purses, home goods are on the first floor. I primarily shop for clothes, so that is the basis of this review. For the most part, a lot of the clothing was priced similar to goodwill or SA, mostly ranging $6+. Some clothing items were significantly overpriced in my opinion ($25-30+ for a pair of USED DONATED jeans). Even that, I could live with and would shop again regardless of. The purses ranged from $5-20 from what I saw. Now, for the reason I will not be returning and why I did not purchase anything... They double staple ALL of the clothes AND PURSES, as well as putting security pins through the clothing and some bags. I'm all for loss prevention, I get it, but staples!!!???? Really??? I was heartbroken seeing all of the damaged clothing. Tag guns are so cheap to buy! Why would you intentionally damage your merchandise??? This is why did not purchase anything. Management, if you're reading this, please invest in just buying a tag gun and save the clothing!! read more

This place sucks! The prices are outrageous. I thought I was shopping at a thrift store and not a vintage shop. $40 for a well used purse, come on now. Horrible. read more

Love this thrift store! Great deals and good quality stuff. Somedays there are extra 50% certain items Items which is awesome. Clean and organized which is a plus. I have a passionate love/hate relationship with this thrift. I find a lot a lot of good shit here. Definitely a hidden gems. The prices are either reasonable or aggressively traumatic. I've seen way too many items for $25-50?? But on Wednesday's most tags are half off so that's gr8! Another thing is the employees. I have one particular employee/manager? That I loathe with a passion that runs so deep. He's rude and condescending. I walked up to the register so that he could ring me out and he tells me with a gross tone "NeXT TiMe rEmoVe ThE HaNgErSsss bEfOre U comE hereeeeee" like, ok....there's no visible sign anywhere or anyone telling people in line to remove their hangers......so don't come at me with that energy ;p!! Ok and then the next time I come, I know better. I remove the hangers before I get to the register but WAIT I get to the counter and now he tells me "NeXt TIme LeAVve ThE HaNgERs on THe RacKKkkk" like???? I respond "what do you mean?" "The rack where you get the clothing from" and I'm just ?????? This makes ZERO sense??? But whatever. He's ugly and I hate him and everyone else who works there. The selection is awesome and that's the only reason I come back read more

Incredibly expensive for a thrift store, women's clothes is visibly more pricey. A blouse typically starts at $6-8, while men shirts are at $4-7 read more

I used to come here all the time , never had a problem , one day I went over like $15 more than I wanted to spend and I asked the manger to put it back he got angry and said "I don't have time for this , your not suppose to do this in the front ." I replied "I never do this , it's my first time ." He kept says "ughh " " I have to deduct the two items manually" "ughhhhhh" my total was $300 ,I looked at him and told him I didn't want anything anymore and left . A thrift store is suppose to be a place where you can decide if you want to the items or not before you pay. The manger was rude this day !!! read more

Prices are astronomical here! The new manager is converting this store into another Goodwill! Good luck when all your merchandise goes in the trash cuz no one wants to buy the merchandise at RETAIL prices! If I could give them Zero stars, I would! Bell thrift, more like bell THIEF. I always come here and give them so much money, which is why I'm so upset and decided to write this review. I cane me here yesterday and bought $45 worth of things. When I got to my car I decided to record a haul for my tik tok. I purchased a jewelry item along with the clothes and when I noticed the jewelry item wasn't in my bag I looked for it all over the bags, my car, even the clothes thinking it got stuck there but nothing. I looked for a good 5 mins even triple checked. They had already closed the gate so I couldn't go back inside. I saw an employee leaving and asked him if there was any chance I could get the item he said no come back tomorrow. So I went today around 12:30pm and told me they had to check the cameras. It took them like 30 min to check and I was browsing around the store. The employee then comes to me and tells me that the cashier did put the jewelry item in my bag and that I walked out with the item so there was nothing they could do. HOW COULD I WALK AWAY WITH IT IF I DON'T HAVE IT!!!??? I wouldn't have wasted my time and gas to drive to the store for them to tell me that over $3 dollars. Like really they couldn't give me another item of the same value??? I'm just so upset because every time I come I spend $80+ dollars and the old man is always so polite that it irks me that they don't care about customers. I was looking for my phone thinking I lost it so I didn't verify with the cashier that the jewelry item was in the bag. I think she noticed that I was distracted and maybe took the item for herself or something idk. I won't be coming back to this store anymore they don't deserve my business after that incident. read more

Great customer service and a high variety of great gems. They have a variety of items in fair to intact condition. I high recommend shopping here before you visit a goodwill. They also have discounted tags on certain days. read more

Not as great of a deal as it used to be. In addition, the constant nagging at 5:45 that they are closing in 5 minutes, don't bring hangars and you need to get out of the aisles by the so called manager "Juanito" is very annoying. They also now have a security guard that seems to think everyone is stealing and is always behind people is also very offensive. Wish the actual owners were there to provide better customer service, if they know how. read more

They don't allow strollers. So either you carry your baby or put them in a small and dirty cart. Disappointing. Zero stars if I could.

Horrible...the manager said he couldn't sell me a toy for my kid because it didn't have a price on it. Stupid!! Left the store with my kid crying for the toy read more

I love this place!!!! They accept card and they are so organized. They always have what I'm looking for. And they have daily color sales. WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAYS all color tags are on sale ! His place is awesome!!! Great prices too. read more

The clothes is organized by color which is cute, but the shoes are in terrible condition. There was one pair of shoe that had cat hair in it and it me sneeze for 40 minutes. The clothes are overpriced compared to other thrift stores. There was an embroidered blouse for 60 bucks can you believe that, it would've made sense if it weren't a thrift store. read more

I went here earlier today and I was actually surprised. I thought it'd be lonely and would have ugly things. Surprisingly, it was crowded with people and had a few decent things. I see it as a good store for mid-aged people and children. They have a-ok clothes for kids and older women and men. Pretty cool. read more

I'm so glad the same old place is a Thrift Shop again!! I love to come here every now and then or when I have the chance, it's the only fun place to go since I'm living in this shitty city in my opinon. **SIGHS** Every thrift shop has it's UPS & DOWNS but it all depends what you find or what you're actually looking for, I just look around if I don't find anything I love or anything in particular, BUT that doesn't stop me of NOT coming back here HAHA! I like it when I get recognize by 2 workers there, they are very nice! Now, I have nothing negative to say about this shop, but some stuff can be $$$ that's all I have to say. Parking can be super packed but early arrival is suggested Just don't arrive here around late at 4:00 or 5:00 it gets packed with sardines HA! read more

I love this thrift store! It has so many great things! I have bought vintage suitcases, vintage trunks, vintage dresses, records, vintage picnic baskets, so many silver plated things! I also bought glass candle holders for my wedding! I've also gotten so many vintage clutches and a ton of name brand clothes including Steve Madden, Vera wang! I bought a Dooney and Bourke vintage all leather handbag for $20! I also got a ton of lace table cloths for $1- $5 each! They are way more economical than going to Downtown LA's fabric district! As far as clothes, they have good finds! Lots of dresses from David's Bridal for not David's Bridal prices. It's just great! I'm a teacher so I need a lot of supplies and this store always has great things that can be reused including, but not limited to, yarn, pencils, paint brushes, art supplies, organizing boxes, shelves and many more things that are great for my lessons! Basically, this place is pretty great! This place has specials every day including 25% off on certain days! read more

The store was okay, although a bit on the pricey side. I've noticed a pattern, if the place is sketchy, then you are likely to find things that cost a couple bucks, but you have to look for those things. Bell Thrift Store has plenty of nice things, but at a bit of a premium as far as thrift stores go. read more

Call ahead to see what specials they have. I went today and there was. 50%off 4 selected colored tags (clothes only). I found size 16 tip NYC pants on sale for $5.00. They have a small plus size section. Everything is divided by size/gender/ age. It's mostly clothes with a small selection of shoes/ housewear/ bags. Looks like new things come in everyday. read more

Large selection of clothes, if patient enough you can find some real treasures in there in regards to high end name brand clothing.
