We were…read moreadvised that the phone would be ready on Saturday morning, as her birthday is on Monday, so we had to make sure that we'd be in receipt of the phone over the weekend. Nothing was received on Saturday, and when we went into the store on Sunday, we were advised that it wouldn't be ready for pickup until Monday. Now my daughter may not be able to get her phone by her birthday because of Freedom Mobile's broken promise. I will never recommend anyone to this company and will especially discourage people from going to this location.

This review is for the service at this location, not the overall Wind Mobile coverage/service aspect. I came in here to top my phone via debit card and the salesperson gave me instructions on how to do it. I asked him nicely to help me out and if he could show me how to top it up (it was my 2nd month). He said "just follow the instructions here" and I said "how do I know this will work? Is there any confirmation?" He told me "if there is any problems, call the Wind service #". I said "can you please help me? I'm not sure". He kept repeating the same thing. Then after a while, I got frustrated and said something to the extent of "Can you please service me since you represent Wind"? He then said "don't tell me how to do my job and if you don't leave, I'm calling the cops". So I exploded and called him an "a-hole". Now all of you that know me, how often do I actually insult people? VERY VERY RARE! What frustrated me the most is that I originally signed up at this location (to test out Wind) and he didn't recognize me and treated me like crap. Though it's close to my mom's place, I'll purposely drive farther to get any Wind service now on.

I drove from Hamilton to Oakville for the appointment and when I arrived was told that they do not fix iPods unless you provide them with the repair parts. It would have been nice if they told me about this before I traveled to their shop. If you insist on using them, do not book online but call them and find out if they can fix your specific problem. However if I had another digital problem I would not call these people.

    I wish I could give ZERO stars…read more I contacted Asad to have the screen replaced on my phone and I dropped the phone off for repair. They called me the next day to let me know it's been repaired and is ready for pickup. When I received the "fixed" phone there was a noticeable gap at the bottom between the screen and the body of the phone. The gap was large enough where I could fit my fingernails in between the screen and the phone. This would be a nightmare for dust getting inside the phone. The speaker for the ear was also deformed and raised where you could tell they pried open the screen. I called them and was advised to take the phone back to get the screen glued back on properly. I was given an apology and told that they were in a rush when the work was done so the glue didn't have enough time to cure. Second time I go and pick up the phone. The speaker part was fixed, however the screen was still showing a large gap between itself and the phone. I'm obviously upset at this point because of the inconvenience of making multiple trips. Again I complain and am told to leave the phone with them so they can fix it (3rd time!). When I get the call that it's been fixed, I take a look at it and although it is slightly better, there was still a gap at the bottom of the screen between the new screen and the phone itself. Still not fixed!! I drop the phone off AGAIN, and the next day I get a call letting me know that they re-installed my old cracked screen because the new screen broke as they were trying to fix it. I'm told that it will take 4 weeks to order a new screen (funny since they were able to order the original screen in one day). I'm told to come pick up the phone and they will give me a refund. I go and pick up the phone and when giving me a refund, they are trying to charge me a $20 service fee. A service fee? I'm told the service fee was for the work they completed. WHAT WORK?!?!? You never even fixed the phone! I should be charging THEM a service fee for the number of trips I had to make back and forth!! The balls on this guy. He then agrees to not charging the service fee. He says he will send me an e-transfer refund. I ask for a refund back to my original Visa as that was how I paid. He says something like his credit card machine is down (how convenient). Then he starts writing me a cheque. I decline the cheque and agree to an e-transfer, which takes him 20 minutes to process. What kind of professional business provides a refund via cheque or e-transfer?? 2 weeks and MULTIPLE trips to the store later, I am back at square one, with a cracked screen and who knows what other damage underneath that they did. What a waste of time. I strongly advise against going to this business for your cell phone needs. There are many other places where you'll get better service and satisfaction. Take a look at some of the other reviews regarding their lack of professionalism. Other reviews have also stated how they have had to make multiple trips. Wish I read those before going here.

Only two slight drawbacks is…read more(1) Tech Support is not 24 7 (My previous provider had 24 7 tech support but when my modem failed, I was on hold for over 2 hours by t he clock and they never did answer. Buzzmax answers the tech support line immediately.) (2) the phone is voip so it CAN go down at the same time as the internet. They say it is possible for one to stay up even though the other goes down when the modem wears out. Buzzmax said modums last about a year but the Bell installer said the one they sent me can last 10 years. I'm so much happier with buzzzmax.

For the first scheduled installation, their technician was late for hours. There is no phone call notifying us from the company or the technician about being late. When we called asking about when the technician would arrive,they told us they couldn't reach their technician. And their excuse was the booking window was 8 hours. For second scheduled time, they didn't installed the modem for us, and their excuse was the technician couldn't find the modem while the modem was in the office. Our internet has never been ready for use and they have been charging us the internet service for 3 months now. They have all the excuses not to refund for the 3 months charge and they didn't think they did anything wrong. They are good at finding excuses.
