There was a street festival going on this afternoon and it seemed that The Hub was a piece of it. Lots of shoppers today, almost all of the seats taken and lots of beer being consumed. Inside is a shop full of interesting decor gifts, food items and a very nice little bottle shop. They also have a dozen or so beer/wine taps with some interesting and unusual beers. We met one of the owners and she was super nice and told us that she moved to Oxford to open this magical place. It's a cozy bookstore with incredible seating areas and they serve coffee and wine. I was super impressed by their interesting wine selection. My friends and I were blown away by the beautiful and cozy seating options in the back room. The space was perfectly designed and super inviting. We all ordered drinks and enjoyed chatting in the back room. They even brought us a carafe of water and glasses! Jamie and Jimmy could not have been more responsive or nicer with our entire transaction. Jamie kept me updated as to timing, was very responsive to my various questions, worked with me on pricing, and then answered a ton of questions the day we picked up the boat. They made it easy by having all the paperwork ready to go and even had the registration number on the boat and ready to go (another dealer told me I had to handle that myself). A really great experience for my wife and I. They seem like very friendly folks and knowledgeable about what they are doing. Would not hesitate to use them again. Only wish list item I would have liked was to have a full tank of gas in the boat. We rolled out with around 25%. I saw others on the Barletta FB page say their dealer sent them away with a fully loaded tank. I suspect they may have done this in part due to the price of gas and also possibly because I had a long ride home to another state.
