This is the worst business I have ever dealt with. The owner is full of lies, bullying tactics, and…read moretotally delusion. For a business that should empower and strengthen women at their most vulnerable of experiences, she attacks, belittles and flat out lies to you. She has refused to give me a full refund, and the portions that she has given, I have had to fight for and threaten lawsuits. the lost response from her was a threat of filing harassment charges against me. Unfortunately, this is a common threat from the company to clients that complain about the way they are treated. This is also not how harassment law works, so as often as she threatens it, she should know that it is purely a bullying tactic. I was accused of being aggressive and "having no grace" in a situation that was THEIR ERROR, which she still ahs taken zero responsibility regarding the issue, even that day blaming me for it. She has written a blog that mentions our situation attacking me publicly and not allowing for comments to said blog to give me the opportunity to defend myself. Hiding behind a computer keyboard. She tried to charge me for a meet and greet visit ($500) until I proved that the meeting was a month before I even signed a contract with her. Now she is trying to claim a visit that I met HER is the first visit, despite HER clinic records showing she provided no medical care. blaming my abundance of questions pertaining to her contract and practice. It has taken over 18 months to receive the monies back that I have gotten. She blamed her last office manager for that. Of course, NOTHING is EVER her fault! I have filed a complaint with the BBB. My complaint went unanswered. I have also filed with the Attorney General, and am aware that I am NOT the only case currently against her. I have made multiple attempts to close out the problem and have been verbally attacked, ignored, threatened, and blamed at each turn. I did go on to a different midwifery service and had a beautiful, perfect home birth with my daughter. That service has become an extension of my family. They were the first to learn of my newest pregnancy and the first to learn of an early loss earlier this year. They cried with me. They informed me. They offered me every comfort they could and were available 24/7. they supported my recovery in every way they could. I am still waiting for a response from an email over 3 weeks old and the BBB waited 5 weeks before closing the case. I have reviewed documents and public hearing records of her past cases in preparation for my own and have found direct lies on the stand. She should be in politics, not midwifery services. DO NOT EVER USE THIS SERVICE. If I could give 0 stars I would, but Yelp doesn't allow it. If you are considering a home birth, I HIGHLY recommend you do your research, not only on the papers and certificates hanging on the wall, but look at the bed side manner of the individual that will help you bring your precious gift into the world. this should be a time in your life filled with joy and celebration. Mine is now filled with ignored emails and empty threats.

We decided to go here for our second so we could get the same type of care but not have the long stay afterwards. Everyone was nice, willing to talk and get to know you and support you in your journey. When it was time to give birth, it was a smooth experience. They checked in as needed but also gave me space as I was in labor. I chose a water birth and everything went quickly and smoothly. And a few hours after birth, we got to go home and sleep in our own bed and just check in the following day. If you're looking for a lower intervention birthing experience without a hospital stay, but also not a full on give birth at home experience, this is the perfect in between!

If you want to enjoy the experience without being bothered every 2 seconds go to Sacred Roots. My wife really wanted to have the baby here after our oldest and 3rd child were born in a hospital. It was so annoying for her to get woken up and have the baby woken up every 2 hours for random checks. I delivered our second child at home in our living room and my wife wanted more of that sort of experience. Our 4th was born here and my wife got to invite her sisters to be with her and experience the birth. The midwife was awesome and did her job exactly how my wife wanted her to do it. My wife is a strong lady who doesn't need a constant you got this girl to give birth. After my son was born we made the food we brought and a few hours later we got to go home and enjoy the new member of the family in the comforts of our home. Now we are expecting our 5th and my wife wanted me to just deliver the baby at home like I did with our 2nd child. I am not up for that so Sacred Roots is the next best thing. If you do not have any issues with your pregnancy or a great amount of fear about having a baby, Sacred Roots is perfect!
