My insurance covered this appointment because he was seeing me for a certain condition and weight loss. If I saw him for just weight loss, my insurance would not have covered that. If you read the innovative medicine website, it is clear that most insurances don't cover weight loss and this is where most people complain. Have you ever looked at your EOB when you've gotten it in the mail? It will tell you how much the dr bills for each visit and every doctor I know charges between 150-250 depending on their specialty. I trust Dr Turner because of his straight talk. I trust his staff because they are very kind and answer all my questions, even the silly ones.
