Deep and lush with lavender bubbles etc. Our view was of the lake and it was relaxing. A cute addition was the bottle of water stating "drink me" in their relation to Alice and Wonderland haven been placed in that city. I had fallen ill and the staff at the front desk was quick to get me a ride to a nearby ER. We where at the ER for 7 hours, So if you fall in, I suggest going back toward London. But for what it was, I am very happy we had a nice stay at the hotel.

When asked why this was the woman on the phone said they had overbooked. I pointed out that this was not a smart way to run a business and asked for help finding another hotel. She said everything was booked and could not help me. When I said that this is very poor management, the girl on the phone agreed with me and then proceeded to tell me that they were indeed the worst hotel and I should find somewhere else. I was immediately disappointed for a couple reasons. 1. No one wished my spouse a Happy Birthday, though we notated we were celebrating that and our wedding anniversary. 2. We were put on the first floor near the gym and the hotel was not at all full. Note that I am a Seeds member. 3. No extra blankets in the room, though that was requested. We left for a bit to eat and when I returned I expressed these concerns to Ilya. She immediately took action to upgrade our room and send a nice birthday treat and extra blankets. A special shout out to Slava as well for always being so pleasant to interact right. All in all, I think they are still working out some kinks being new, but still a beautiful place in the heart of London.

Alright, I have to admit that I am very partial to this hotel. First and foremost, it's on…read morehallowed ground. Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea Football Club. I had stayed here 4 years ago at the Copthorn and this trip I stayed at the Millennium. So, this review is for the Millennium Hotel. One item of note is that I happen to be a True Blue member of the Chelsea Football Club and this did afford me some upgrades because of the membership. However, I did notice that they offer the free breakfast for similar packages. The hotel itself is very nicely appointed with comfortable beds and amenities. The complimentary breakfast was huge. Buffet style, bangers, rashers, potato cakes, beans, tomatos and a varity of pastries and breads. Eggs were to order. They also include cereals and freshly made coffee with each cup. Many types of juices to choose from as well and fresh fruit to grab for a mid morning snack. Best to get in early for the breakfast, since the dining room is not extremely large, but on the day we couldn't be seated they directed us across to the Copthorn where we were provided with the same offerings in the 55 Restaurant complimentary as well. Service was prompt and polite. We saved a bucket by porking out on breakfast to fuel our day for walking around London doing all the things we had planned. Our rooms were turned down each evening and cleaned up nicely for our return. One item of note is that I would definitely bring an alarm clock, since their wake up service is a personal phone call and often it was later then we requested. On the last day, they actually came to our door to knock rather than a phone call, about 10 mins late. We requested internet as it was part of our package we booked. We had no service for one day, and the engineers took most of the day to fix it. Not a huge inconvenience for us, but it could of created havoc for anyone who was on business and was relying on this service to do their job. Everyone we came in contact with at the hotel was very polite and pleasant. Another item of note.. if you happen to stay at the hotel during game day, be prepared. You are not allowed to "hang out" in the lobby to see the players.... that was our plan so that was a bit of a bummer. However if you go across the courtyard to the Copthorn, you will be able to hang and even be able to get an autograph as the players come up from the parking garage. You must be a guest or at least have a friend who is staying since they will not let you in unless you have a key card. At the Copthorn bar I was able to meet and chat with Chopper Harris and Peter "The Cat" Bonetti, two Chelsea Legends who I watch play as a young lad. I will continue to stay here when I travel to London, it's has always been affordable to me and a nice restful place to stay.

My husband and I stayed at Hazlitt's for four nights a week or so ago, and we had a wonderful stay…read more I've never stayed in a hotel like Hazlitt's. Hazlitt's is a townhouse hotel located right off Soho Square in Soho. The building is Georgian and dates back to 1718. The hotel has 30 rooms, all decorated beautifully with furniture and decor that matches the age and history of the hotel. There are several community spaces with couches and bookcases (one of the bookcases only has books by authors who have stayed in the hotel). There are also two honesty bars, well stocked with nice whiskeys, wine, and more. The hotel is named after essayist William Hazlitt who lived in and died in the house in 1830. One room - the one we stayed in - is also named after him. Other rooms are named after other people with connections to the building or to Hazlitt. With a building that dates back to 1718 there are going to be plenty of quirks! No lift/elevator (duh, but I thought this was worth pointing out as the hotel is four stories and that could be an issue for guests with mobility issues). The staircases are uneven. A marble dropped at one corner of our room would power down the sloped room! But the hotel is still very comfortable. Our room was tight with large bags but was otherwise very comfortable: large bathroom with a walk-in shower, a very comfortable bed, great A/C for a hot summer week, a minibar, and more. They offer room service and breakfast served downstairs in the community rooms or in your guestroom. What made our stay so special was the service. Every single staff member we interacted with during our stay was lovely - friendly and helpful. They wished us a good day as we dropped our key off with them in the mornings, and they welcomed us in when we came back to get our key when we came back each night. They gave us a tour of the hotel when we checked in. They brought us a great breakfast two mornings during our stay. They think of everything - there was even a small bottle of milk in the minifridge for us to use in our tea. I would probably have preferred to stay in a quieter part of London, but the the location of the hotel was incredibly convenient. The Tottenham Court Road station is just a few minutes away; and you can get the Elizabeth Line, Central Line, and Northern Line there. But we didn't even really use the Underground that often, because the hotel is so conveniently located that we were able to walk to lots of places on our itinerary (shows in the West End, Westminster, and restaurants in Soho and Covent Garden). Hazlitt's was a special hotel. There's so much London history in the walls, decor, and art of this hotel. It was exactly the kind of place I wanted to stay at during our first trip to London in almost 20 years. Staying at Hazlitt's was a highlight of our time in London!

She was rude and degraded every single person who encountered her. One guy asked for a pen and she rolled her eyes and almost refused to give him one. When a person came to check in, she demanded they go sit in a booth "until she was ready for them". I tried to help a fellow female customer who had been locked out of her room so long she missed an important interview. I was yelled at and told I was a horrible person and a troublemaker. Luckily, my mother was there to tell this girl she was being rude and wrong. Was she having a bad day? I don't think so. The managers said they would handle our complaint. Let's hope so, as she needs to be fired. I hope, if we use this establishment again, that this girl is gone. She is an embarrassment to this place and sullies the wonderful atmosphere that the rest of the staff are providing. Other than this horrible excuse of a "receptionist" this place is great!
