They also left my antique mirrors and furniture, along with family heir looms which were in a room unaffected by the fire in totes with lids fastened, in rooms water had been dripping on them and where you could see mold starting to grow. This is the second time I have used C&Z for remodeling and renovations. I cannot speak for…read morerestorations due to fire or water damage...but I CAN speak for renovation work. We had a second floor and garage addition over 18 years ago from C & Z. Flooring installed in the second floor is still good after all these years and did not need to be replaced. This time around, I contracted for another addition to the side of the house and a kitchen remodel with other work being done to every single room in the house except for one. This was a huge undertaking. Hats off to the crew who did the first remodel as there were 12 people living in the house during that renovation; this time there were only 7 people living through most of the renovation (and a dog) increasing to 9 towards the end of the work. While the crew members changed over the years, Aaron Holbrook was present for both remodels. Trying to remodel and renovate around so many people was challenging and so we are grateful to Jonathan King, Patrick Smith, Ron, Anthony and especially Jason who almost single handedly painted the entire house. The crew had to work around all these people while installing cabinets, flooring, painting, ceiling tiles, framing, etc....The crew was flexible, considerate and courteous. I feel the overall cost of the project was fair for the amount of work that was done both inside and outside of the house. We will be contacting them again for future work.

Do NOT let Mellon Certified Restoration of Harrisburg PA complete work at your home or manage your…read moreinsurance claim! We had water damage in December and we are still cleaning up the mess they made. The work is horrible, excuses and delays are many AND they try to charge for work that is not completed. I have scheduled an appointment with a manger (Bill) to show him the subpar and incomplete work at our home. He did not call and did not show up. We rescheduled, he showed up, agreed with the poor quality of work, took pictures and agreed that some of the work that was charged was not done at all. He assured us there would be a quick resolution. That was in January. We finally asked gave up, found another repair company and asked Mellon Certified Restoration for a final invoice. They again tried to charge us for subpar work (that will need to be redone) AND for work they never did. I have sent 4 emails to management (Bill and Chris Bond) and have received no response. Emails were sent March 1, 6 and 9 2022. This company is a fraud! The website does not even include a Harrisburg location and I am looking into that and trying to identify who owns Mellon Certified Restoration of Harrisburg.

I was trying my best to get plumbers in my area to come out and fix the pipe ( they all advertised to have 24/7 service but I didn't receive one call back out of the 9 I contacted ). I called my insurance company, USAA. They had Mellon Restoration team here within 3 hours to begin extracting the small flood in the basement and setting up equipment to dry out and extract the water. Jeff stayed till 11:30 PM to make sure he had removed the carpet padding, furniture and other wet items before he left. Of course we had no water and now it is the 4th of July! No problem, Jeff was back here by 9:00 AM, with a contact for a plumber that really does respond 24/7. HB McClure. I will get to their stellar service in another review. To Mellon Certified and specifically Jeff, thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!!!!

They gave us continuous flooring between rooms without any room transitions/dividers. The installers were very friendly and professional. We are very happy with the end result. We did have a negative experience with their sales person. When he came to our home to give us a quote, I made it very clear that I wanted all the old flooring removed so that all the flooring would be even and no room transitions/dividers. After I signed the contract and paid the deposit, he tried to say that we had agreed to have the new flooring installed over top of the old flooring in the kitchen and bathroom with room transitions/dividers. After a heated argument he finally said, 'I talk to too many people to remember who said what.' I'm still giving M&Z a 5 star review because the installers were great and we're very happy with the end result. Just make sure to get everything detailed in the quote before you sign anything or pay the deposit.

I sent M & Z an email asking what they had available and was basically insulted with a 1 word response. What is it with this company, it seems like it's a sad virus that comes from within, by reading the reviews for both this location and the Mechanicsburg store, their sales people must be trained in rudeness, and come to find out - the person "Doug" who responded to me is a VP!!!! No wonder they're struggling to compete in the market. At this point I don't even think I'd purchase puppy pads from them. Free would be too expensive for me to give them any business, no matter if I were referred to them or not. If they're like this before you buy can you imagine what they'd be like if you had an issue? If I could have given them a half star I would have.

Every situation is different and your experience with Class One may be different than ours…read more Based on the insurance estimate, our restoration from a garage fire and interior smoke damage was expected to take approximately 4-6 months to complete. With our project, the majority of work was completed after about 8 months, which was the longest that the insurance would permit our rental housing to be paid. We moved back into the house before some of the final work had been completed. Looking back, scheduling could have been done better to keep the project moving and on schedule. As Class One was a new company when we contracted with them, some sub-contractors had to be vetted and eventually replaced, which added time to the project. Some of the sub-contractors were not of the highest quality or dependable, which led to some of these being replaced during the project. These are the pains of a new business that is growing and expanding. The warranty period after job completion is one year. We had some communication breakdowns during the contract period that led to confusion regarding what was covered under warranty. This was eventually resolved. The owner will work closely with your insurance to insure that all areas that need addressed are included in the restoration.
