I have had 2 visits with Kelly Bash, both were the 90-minute "Weekend Warrior" massage. When I first arrived, I noticed the positive, non judgmental atmosphere, perfect for rest and healing! I was greeted with a warm pack for my neck! Kelly is extremely knowledgeable about physical conditions, anatomy, and massage therapy. I found her energy level and excitement to be refreshing as well. I love the fact that she truly loves what she does, and it shows. I would not hesitate to recommend Kelly or any of the professionals at Praxis. Enjoy a "mini vacation" and visit Praxis Wellness Center! I loved the private room, and I was fully draped at all times. Also, there are no "sales pitches" or add on sales! Then after viewing the website it just seemed like exactly the kind of place I'd go to at home so I booked a massage with Matthew. Little did I know it would be one of the best massages I've ever had!! So i've probably gotten a couple hundred massages over the years (I spent some time overseas where it was affordable enough to get a massage every couple days -- man I miss that!!) and in half a dozen countries and I'm not kidding when I say this was one of the best ever. I got a combination rejuvenation/zen massage which was really a perfect balance of body and mind relaxation. There were elements of Thai massage, lomi lomi, swedish, and a little Matthew magic! So I left feeling great and today I still feel the benefits of the massage so I am completely happy with my experience. But that's not all -- I just got a follow-up email from Matthew that was personalized and included some additional information about an injury I'm trying to heal! I couldn't believe he took the time to follow up and send this info to someone who doesn't live in the area and can't really refer anyone or bring repeat business. That's when you know you are working with someone who truly cares about their clients and cares about what they do.

I saw Gene twice and told him I really needed to get my back in shape. He told me everything he was going to do beforehand, and answered all of my questions. He also told me when I'd be pain-free. Gene is incredibly knowledgeable, and very personable! He was right about when my pain would subside to the day. I was so thankful that I could enjoy our extended vacation, thanks to Gene's healing procedures! All off the office staff are considerate and helpful. He has an impressive amount of tools and recordings to help one go into a deep meditation, which everyone needs daily. He has tuning forks,and special tuning forks for chakra cleansing. He has tuning forks that hum om. His meditation room is decorated with a beautiful tapestry. There's pillows, oils, and crystals. The thing is, he does this by donation. It's truly worth it. After the meditation, he discusses the art of meditation, itself. I love going to his meditation groups, cause his office just makes me melt. It is so charged with positive energy. I can only imagine getting a massage or reiki. I believe I'd melt from the peacefulness. It is so meaningful that he allows this in his office. If I needed a massage or a treatment, I'd certainly come here. But for meditation...it's beautiful.

His techniques in actually working out your knots and tight muscles are unmatched. If you are looking to feel relief after a massage, you need to go see Tom. I was feeling adventurous and tried his "cupping" technique (google it to find out more) and although it was fast at getting the knots out of my back, I probably wouldn't do it again. While I was training for my half-marathon, Tom helped me through the whole process - giving me exercises and stretches to do while I was training.
