I've driven by many times, and being new to the area, I finally called and asked about their services and went in for a cut and full highlight. All of the staff went above and beyond to help me. From washing, to highlighting, to cutting I was amazed at how particular they were to make sure everything they were doing was perfect. 3 people worked on me at once! All were so friendly and nice. This is by far the best cut/color I've ever had. All I did was say what length and color range I was looking for and trusted them to do rest. Glad I did! Alex is masterful with the scissors. He took so much time to explain to me different techniques he was using and how it would frame my face and take the weight out of areas of my hair. He made sure everything was perfect before I left the chair. My hair feels healthier and lighter and the high quality products they used on my hair are much appreciated. I will come back here in six weeks for touch up and will try the facials in back of salon. This place is clean, friendly, and best prices for area. Give it a try!

Alright. This salon is so hit or miss. When it's a hit...it's a a hit. It slays even. But when it's…read morea miss....your day feels well wasted. The stylist does not cut layers well, so please go somewhere else if you want layers. Coloring is good they try to get it as accurate to your picture as possible. I'm ngl the only reason why I still come here is 1. Local business and 2. They're the only place nearby that does Japanese hair straightening and they do that beautifully. Mind you now there's 2 people working, 3 if you count the daughter who washes and blow dries hair. So there's always a wait but I mean it's up to you if that's ok. Over all I'd say it's worth for Japanese hair straightening. Otherwise go somewhere else.

I was able to make an appointment for a wash, cut and blow for myself and single process hair color treatment for my mom. We came in and I got my hair washed and cut, and my mom was getting her hair colored and we were treated very nicely. However, somehow I was not written down for a blowout which was very weird. My mom I could understand because I did not mention a blowout for her, but it mentions on the website that haircuts include blowouts. From there, the experience was not the same. I was left on the side to get a low heat blowdry while a customer who wanted 1 inch of hair off and that took forever. At time to pay, it felt like prices were being pulled from thin air. Prices on the website mention $85+ $75+ $60+ for a haircut (which includes blowout) depending on the stylist's level of experience. The price of my wash/cut/blow was $75 and another $25 added to that because my blowout took a long time even though my hair was cut shorter (?) My mom's total was $170 for her single process hair color (which on website says $115+ and I would think includes the wash) and the blowout. It says on the website that additional blowout to any service is $20-$30. My hair was still a little wet when I came home despite the extreme heat that was applied because my hair is "curly". It is still pretty frizzy. I had also mentioned multiple times during the process that my hair still felt tangled and it still felt tangled when I got home. My mom told me they did not spray heat protection before starting on her blowout. We ended up staying for a little more than 3 hours. The price was too high and just not worth the services.

Attention brides, PLEASE read this prior to signing a contract and submitting payment to Lolita X…read moreJade Hair & Makeup Studio. I am a bride who has had to cancel my wedding twice due to Covid-19. As you can imagine, this has been a very difficult time. Below is my honest experience with Lolita X Jade. I paid $160 for a hair trial and took a day off of work due to the traveling distance. The appointment went well. She was very personable and I was happy with the overall experience. Therefore, I proceeded in submitting a $350.00 deposit to secure my date. My wedding which was scheduled in June was cancelled due to Covid-19. I asked if she was available for our new date in September and she kindly confirmed that she would able to accommodate. Unfortunately, I had to cancel again for September and devise a new plan for October at a different location. I reached out as soon as our new date was agreed upon. She was already booked but could possibly make it work depending on the time frame. Once I stated that I would need to be ready by 12/12:30pm, she responded that she was unable to provide services for both weddings. I told her that I completely understand as these circumstances are beyond any of our control. I asked if it was possible to refund my $350.00 deposit since she would no longer be available. She said she wouldn't since I signed a contract. I asked if she was willing to offer a partial refund since she was no longer available and already booked for that day anyway. She declined and refused to compromise or offer anything at all. I understand that deposits are non-refundable. However, these are incredibly different circumstances. I did not choose to cancel my wedding, I was forced to. I did not choose to cancel with her, she was no longer available. Therefore, how is it fair to keep someone's money when YOU are no longer available and YOU are still getting paid that same day for another booking. We aren't referencing a small $50.00 deposit. This is $350.00, not including the trial which was $160.00. Therefore, I am now out $510.00 total. The trial is undoubtedly nonnegotiable as she provided services and deserved to be paid. However, the deposit is a different case. Now I have to spend additional money for another trial with a new hair stylist. I feel this is simply a poor reflection of human decency. She could have offered a partial refund given the fact that SHE was no longer available and wouldn't be losing money since she was getting paid for another wedding. She was also booked for the September date as well. Therefore, she wasn't losing money on either dates but still decided to keep my money for services not rendered. Postponing my wedding twice has been brutal in itself. It is truly upsetting that in this specific scenario there was no sense of compassion from woman to woman. I have reached out to two other stylists and confirmed that cancellation fees/deposits will be waved due to Covid-19. Therefore, my advice to any bride is, PLEASE make sure you confirm this type of information to prevent yourself from losing $510.00 like I did. Also, I have all of the correspondence saved through emails for any futher verfication. Good luck to all of the brides out there. Stay strong and know that there is light at the end of the tunnel! xo
