I have lived here for one year and I am very pleased. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Maintenace requests are handled promptly and satisfactorily. There are a lot of special activities available, such as a pool, food wagon visits, and many others. This is a good place to live. read more

As a resident living here for one year, I have decided to renew my lease for the following reasons. Is that fair is exponential and phenomenal. They work together, and no matter how many times you call about the same issue they would make sure that they come and fix it the day the work order is created. The maintenance will try their best to make sure that they come within the week. Your work order was scheduled. This is 1000% of family friendly apartment complex. They have an area to clean the interior of your car and basketball court along with a playground for the children. They also have a pool and a barbecue area. Just wish the clubhouse would be open until a later time because it is typically close at 6 o'clock which a lot of people would like to take a vantage of the clubhouse that is being paid for. This could be fix with the staff on the property working together to close it at a later time. You are definitely getting what you pay for as it is a clean safe environment here. read more

There is a dog park-nice bonus! But the negatives. Not everyone is courteous with using the community facilities. If their dog poops they DO NOT clean it up. I bought the pooper scooper that is currently in the building. I religiously walked around every time i went out there and cleaned up. I walked through the complex with my dog. Nobody cleaned up their poop so if i had a bag i cleaned it up but again this is other people not cleaning up after their own pets. The disturbing thing about this is that if a dog pooped by my building, ONLY my building got the letter, I called and asked. My dog never pooped right in front of my building. She would have to walk around and smell things and then poop. Most of the time she didn't poop until we were towards the front of the complex. I always cleaned it up yet if a dog pooped by my building that building near the poop got another letter. There was a lot of. What people can and can't have on their patio, what color lights can be hung on their patio, how quickly decorations had to be taken down. Amenities- There is a dog park, a playground, a pool. The refrigerator was not my favorite. It had wire shelves in it and I would open the door and most anything like cans or bottles would all fall over. The rent was extremely high. I know what I signed up for so I dealt with it for the year. I left the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, corner lot house with a 2 car garage paying almost $500 less than I paid in the apartment. My biggest disappointment in this complex was a stray dog that was found on the grounds. I found a dog under one of the bushes. The building did come to get it & did not find it in their records They discovered the dog was sick & took it to the ER vet in Niceville. The dog was seen there I believe the night before. It had Parvo. The owner did not have the money to treat it so they dumped it and it wandered into the apartment complex to die. Broke my heart. None of this was the apartments fault BUT no notice was sent out to the building about this. People walk their dogs all around the complex and have no idea of this incident. If any of their dogs were to get sick they would never know why. I have taken my dog to daycare for years. If kennel cough or anything of that nature went through they let everyone know. My vet even said that the apartment complex should be notifying the tenants. I called and asked....i was told they would look into it but no notice ever went out. Letters went out about patios, dog poop, weed, not about something as important to something that could kill a persons dog. I personally did not have any problems with bugs, roaches, or mice. I saw two roaches when I moved in and immediately called. The building had the bug guy show up the next week and that was the last I saw of them. I did spray on my own as well. I do know others in the complex due to possibly their neighbors in the building that had a HUGE mouse and roach problem. Again, this is a community living situation so you are impacted by the tidiness of your neighbors. I knew people who had more than 2 animals in their house and didn't cleanup after them very well...I heard the chatter from the neighbors about the critters. Out of my security deposit I get $85 back. Despite paying a water bill every month I had two months due. Not sure how that happened but it is what it is. I did go back in and clean the apartment. I cleaned and scrubbed the bathrooms, the floors, wiped the walls as best as I could and the tops and inside of the cupboards. I got charged almost $20 for two lightbulbs. I missed wiping off the outer ledge of the dishwasher which slides under the counter. That was $10 Apparently I didn't do as well as I thought with the ceiling fans. I got charged $5 for that. I also missed wiping out the microwave. That was $10. In the grand scheme of things I realize that I missed this. Just disappointing for my first and only apartment living experience. read more

These people charged for renter's insurance for months even after giving proof that I had the insurance, and they also require a 60 day notification of vacating instead of a 30 day like every other place. They're fee? Another month's rent that you're not even living there. Oh, and forget about getting your deposit back. Worst housing I've ever lived in, because their management absolutely will not work with you on issues. Absolutely trash customer service. read more

My husband and I have lived at Bel Aire for a year now and it was our first place we called home. We loved every minute of living at Bel Aire, especially during the summers we enjoyed being at the pool every weekend! The front office and maintenance team have always been so helpful! Last summer our AC broke and my husband was gone for a training and the maintenance team worked as fast as possible to get it fixed for me! They also were so helpful when I had my dresser delivered and needed help carrying it up to the 3rd floor! read more

The only thing I really disliked about these apartments was the fact that they you are forced to use two cable/internet providers. Direct Path is by far the worse Internet service you can get in these apartments. I DO NOT recommend getting it unless you can deal with monthly headaches. I only had one computer and cell phone and even playing YouTube or Netflex was a pain. If you have Sprint as your cell phone provider your service will be even slower once you are connected to the Internet. They offer another company's service but my neighbor said they were pretty expensive. I spent every month being annoyed with the service and not being able to switch due for other personal issues. The costumer service for Direc Path isn't terrible but all they can do is send a tech down so they can they you that they can't do anything about the extremely slow internet. read more

Love my apartment here they have thick walls so you can't hear your neighbors which is awesome and it has a nice gym and pool that I love. The staff is great and easy to work with. I'd recommend this place. read more

Meghan is awesome! A professional with a great personality to match. If you are having a bad day stop in at the office - I can guarantee by the time you leave the office - you will have forgotten what caused it. Michelle has been a great addition to the office. Casey and Staci are professional, friendly, and courteous. The maintenance team - I don't know that well so it should speak for itself. If I don't know a maintenance person - they must be doing a great job because I have not had to call them. If you want a friendly place to live where your not just another resident - this is where you need to be. They put on some pretty amazing things for the residents. They are never to busy to talk to you. Here you are more like part of a community not just a number or $ sign. I am a very happy resident. read more

My husband and I loved living here!! Everyone from the leasing office to the men workers on site are all so nice and helpful. We had the best experience here and would recommend living here to anyone! They are super pet friendly, and they always have something fun going on for the complex community to participate in. The only reason we left, is because we were buying a home. Pay your rent on time and be neighborly. You won't have problems here, and IF you do, they will do whatever they can to help you. This was our first place together, we would not have changed one thing. Only have the best things to say about the ladies in the office and the apartment complex!!!! read more
