That started off nice...til I stretched out, got myself comfortable and was met with dirty seats, nasty cup holders and overall "used" recliners, that needed some more love. Overall, it's your average overpriced theater, with a good location. For the price we're paying these days, a cleaning in between movies at a minimum, would be nice.

Every few miles there are porta potties and picnic tables if you need to use the toilet, rest or have a snack. There are some benches along the trail if you need to sit down or just take in the view of nature. We've started at several locations along the trail and from the trail heads. Often striking up conversations with others that are there to exercise or just enjoy the nature. Every one we have encountered has been friendly. The nature is really something else. The wildlife is really cool, we see something new every time such as Cow, deer, snakes, turtles, various birds species, fish, squirrels, beavers and other little things like dragon flies and butterflies. The trail is a nice break and I highly suggest it to anyone that wants a enjoyable place to ride,walk, run.

I've been coming here for quite a few years and have never had any problems. The paths are very clean and a lot of trees surrounding. Everyone is friendly and when crossing the main roads the cars will slow down and drivers are very vigilant on keeping an eye out. There are many landmarks and a lot of beautiful animals all over. Deer, Rabbits, many different sized dragon flies, turtles, snakes and we saw an Eagle before. The animals keep their distance and if you leave them alone your safe. Had an astronomically amazing time here on a field trip with a group of forty third graders. Due to…read morestaff shortages, the amount of students is limited to forty per day, and we had booked two classroom for two days. Some students were not able to go due to this restriction. We arrived at 9:30 and had to walked around outside and observe the outside exhibits until they opened at 10:00AM. Once inside, we sat for a presentation by a very engaging employee. NASA sent the teachers a video to watched prior to our visit, so the students had some interesting questions for our host. After that, that had about an hour to explore the exhibits. Many were hands-on. Our students loved it, and had a blast. It was nice that we had the whole museum to ourselves. The cost for admission is free for everyone, not just for field trips. They are closed Sundays and Mondays. I plan to come again on my own. The first Saturday of each month they do a rocket launching. Kids can bring their own, or buy one from the gift shop which I would have liked to visit. Next ti

It reads: On this site, Isaac Charles and Nathan Walker erected a large white oak log house named for their ancestral stronghold in Scotland which the three brothers had fled after the failure of attempts to unseat George I, King of England, as ruler of Scotland. Isaac permanently settled here and obtained land grants for 188 acres. He and his three sons served in the Revolutionary War. The graves of Isaac and his son Nathan are north of here. Taoping Castle was the birthplace of Samuel Hamilton Walker (February 24, 1817 - October 9, 1847). Lt. Colonel of the Texas Rangers and Captain of the US Cavalry, he left home at age 19 to fight Indians and later became a leader and hero of the Rangers. His suggested changes to Samuel Colt's revolver resulted in Colt's success as an arms manufacturer. 1000 Colt-Walker pistols - the first, heaviest and longest revolvers ever issued to American forces - were purchased for the Texas Rangers during the Mexican war. Walker was killed in that war at the Battle of Hua Mantla, Mexico. The family cemetery is all that remains of the Taoping Castle estate.

The Society was founded in March 1932 and is the oldest exclusively model railroad club in the United States. They maintain 2,500 square feet of model railroad displays of steam and diesel freight and passenger trains and trolleys, plus so much more. It was fun to see all the parts of the display - it really gives you a glimpse into the history of railroading. It is not easy to find, as the doorway is tucked into the left front center of the building and the society is located on the third floor with no elevator. The display is normally open on the second Sunday of each month, except May.

The museum includes an historic house, which is built in an "international" style. The house has been restored and is filled with items that were used between 1936-1946. Unlike other museums, there are no display cases here. The furniture and decorative items in the house tell the story of the years of the Great Depression and the New Deal. The authentic fiesta ware and depression glass caught my eye, as well as some really neat children's toys. On the walls there are original architectural renderings of the development of this area. A unique way to display city planning, for sure.
