An ordinary Sunday congregation is more like 80 to 100 parishioners. They have two services on Sunday, one at 8:45am and the other at 11am. Christian Education is from 10am to 10:45am. The Vicar, Rev. Ripp Hardaway, is both scholarly and folksy, both challenging and easygoing. We love his approach to explaining Christ's love and how we are called to share it with others. Don't know how many Aggie Episcopalians there are, he might be one of a kind. The Episcopal Church is a treasure, the theology being based on a balance of "scripture, tradition and reason". This permits a wide range of discussion and interpretations of the meaning of scripture. Nobody here walks around acting like he/she has all the answers. But Jesus is at the center of it all, without doubt. We found the members of this church to be warm, welcoming and accepting, and focused on Christ's message of serving others. After checking out a number of churches in town, we happily joined.

Thru the years, I have seen it during slow times and now am happy to say that it is thriving. With young families and newcomers of all ages. The music is always special as well, I love the cozy interior of the mid century style structure that was built in 1965 ( I believe) I appreciate its history and that the congregation chose to preserve the original building. They are growing and need more space, so there is a campaign, but they don't push it on you, which I appreciate. The sermons are always relevant. Ripp Hardaway is wonderful. He is intelligent and down to earth, serious when needed and joyful when appropriate. I always get something from his sermons. So does my Dad. We often discuss what we learned in church. It is always relevant. We go to the 8:45 service usually. Just fyi. Ps. I am not the most outwardly religious person. I like to keep it personal. Thank you for reading this.

It's not just a church you attend, it's a place where you belong. Through TPC, I've discovered my calling, gifts, and talents in ways I never expected. This is where I found my passion for photography and learned how to use it to serve God and others. The leaders here don't just see potential, they call it out, encourage it, and help you grow into it. Our kids absolutely love it here too, from Awana to youth group, they're learning about Jesus, building friendships, and growing in their faith. It's amazing to see them surrounded by leaders who pour into them with so much love and care. What really sets The Purpose Church apart is how community focused it is. Small groups have helped us build real, lasting friendships and find people who genuinely walk through life with us. You can't just show up on Sundays and expect connection, you have to jump in and get involved. But once you do, you realize how beautiful it is to be part of a church family that truly does life together. I love that Pastors Kelly and Landon don't sugarcoat the gospel. The messages are real, honest, and rooted in truth. They'll challenge you, hold you accountable, and help you grow, so if you're looking for watered down sermons, this isn't the place. But if you want a church that will strengthen your faith, call you higher, and remind you of who God's called you to be, you'll feel right at home here. The worship is powerful, the people are genuine, and my family has grown so much here. in faith, in purpose, and in community. If you're looking for a church that feels like home, that helps you discover your purpose, that challenges you and reminds you that God has a plan for your life, this is the place.

Attending alone for the first time I prefer to observe and not have too many people come up to me asking me questions. I was so pleased that I did not feel bombarded or overwhelmed. The service begins with contemporary songs. The message is relatable and not too long or condemning. I brought my husband for the sunrise service on Easter Sunday which was outside. The weather was very nice. The service was very beautiful and heart felt. What was most impressive about this small church is they don't ask for money. The pastor let us know if we wanted to give an offering it was located inside. We of course left an offering as we wanted to give back for our wonderful experience and we wanted to support the giving of this church.
