I'm not sure whether this place warrants 2 or 3 stars. I went with 3 because it technically is a…read moresports bar and that's what most people will be here for anyway. The beer is an ok price and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Lots of locals keep the atmosphere cozy as well. The food is where it went awry. I really enjoyed the grilled vegetables on my plate but the tuna steak was horribly overcooked. It wasn't seasoned well either, so it was very unpleasant to eat. I also didn't get a picture of my plate because it was messy. Someone I was with got a pulled pork burger and the patty looked like it was made hours ago and just sat in the heat. I definitely don't think the food was worth it. For drinks and sports, though, give it a shot!

This place is at its best on nice summer days, sitting outside on the patio. The service is casual,…read morefriendly, and efficient. The food is priced reasonably and well prepared. I have been quite happy with the burgers served there. Made with a substantial patty of good quality beef, cooked nicely, and too much other stuff (though not bad stuff) piled on. The fries are the same frozen ones that seem ubiquitous in Stockhom. Better quality, thin crispy fries would boost up the experience a notch. This problem is general, not Dick Turpin's alone. I don't get it. Maybe it's a lack of availability of the right type of potatoes- large "baking" potatoes- the ones with the drier crumbly texture. The fish and chips is also good, although it has been a little greasy on one or two occasions. Two large fillets of Cod fried in classic English batter, usually done just about right- crisp golden batter coating on the outside, perfectly cooked fish on the inside. Overall, a nice neighbourhood English style pub with good food and beer and friendly service at fair prices. A ten minute walk from home, so very convenient. I feel fortunate that it's around. PS- Dick Turpin was a notorious Highwayman with an interesting life story.

What a delightful place. Not stuffy at all. Feels like a local watering hole but not a dive bar…read more Stellar cocktail menu with fascinating background into history and recipes. Be ready to make friends, the menu literally tells you to and people act on it. Bartenders are friends and fellow patrons just as friendly.

The bar is small, unassuming and finds itself on a street filled with conspicuous, Italian restaurants hosting happy hours for corporate Swedes. The bar is a standout for the drinks, the trademark Swedish charisma and genuine warmth. As a side, shout out to Sweden for having the nicest, most welcoming people in the world. We were given a standing table when we got in, but quickly moved to a couple of seats by the bar. We were one of 8 couples at the bar, so yes, very date night vibes. For our first round of drinks, we got the Easy Martini and Let them Eat Cake. The latter was too sweet for our liking but the Easy Martini had the perfect amount of sweet and tart. Our second round was the winner with the Girl Dinner and their Old Fashioned. The Girl dinner was crafted to perfection and possibly the best version of a martini we've ever had. The old fashioned too, made with WhistlePig 10 years was fantastic. The service cannot be faulted, we profusely thanked the lovely bartender, vowing to crow about it to whoever cares to listen and to be back when we are in Stockholm next.

When a place has an average rating of 1.5 you know you're not going to see the best of results -…read moreespecially considering the best rating in English has been a three-star rating, which was back in 2015! O'Learys is a Swedish franchise restaurant chain with the concept of American sports bar and restaurant. They are over more than one floor, and you can access the other floor through the Mall of Scandanavia, in which it is located in, in a town called Solna, in the outskirts of Stockholm. I approached the bar area - there was a table stating they were cashless - which is a growing theme in Stockholm. After waiting for a few minutes shouting "hello" "hello" no one seemed to be there - I know they were serving people downstairs as they had tables and a bar area and of course a stand typically places would have before sitting someone down - Nevermind bad service this is no service. The place also seemed to lack authenticity, I get during the international break for football there isn't much on but instead of showing a real game or a classic game from the past they ended up showing a game which was two weeks old as if it was real - surely anything other even a sports news channel would be better than and old, unremarkable game from the end of August? Really bad service for what I'm finding out is a chain which lacks the authenticity they claim to have. 1*

Slow, lousy service.. food served isn't even the same as what the menu says…read more. Buffet is more like a cafeteria/school cafeteria. Half the items stated don't exist. Ordered mozzarella sticks.. came out cold. Fish & chips came out cold. Fish undercooked and was like a wet sponge. Fries soggy enough to be braided into a nice bracelet.. if I would have wanted to. Had to get up and get utensils myself, Servera didn't even bother bringing these.. even though I asked for them?! Didn't even have parsley or the lemon as said on the menu. When questioning why the served food isn't the same as the menu provided the reason was "game day menu", Ehm well we ordered the said items from that game day menu. We even told the servers that we wouldn't eat this food and they could send it back to the kitchen. They offered to make another for us, but in honesty.. a half empty restaurant with that many staff members running around and taking over 40 minutes to be served the first time we declined. Best part.. the staff actually had the nerve to try to charge us for the food we sent back! I mean what the actual F*CK?! You serve something that was unacceptable and we send it back with the server and decline having it remade and you expect us to actually pay for it? Server goes back to the register, comes back with a discounted price on the receipt instead. Now why on earth would I want a discount for something I haven't even eaten, something I specifically asked to be sent back?! Not even the "manager" took it upon herself to have the conversation with us she actually avoided the issue! We told our servers over and over again that we are not mad at them or have an issue with them serving us. But paying for something that we even sent back? Yeah how about.. NO! The food wasn't even removed from the table.. was just left sitting there throughout our duration sitting there waiting to pay for our sodas, which in all honesty is amazing to have been charged for.
