The pitabread (very dry) was stuffed in a plastic bag in a basket on every table. When the food arrived it was hart near impossible to fit everything on the small table for two. I did however enjoy the patata brava-like dish, the mushroom/onion/garlic, the beetroots and the passionfruit juice. While the mix plates are huge (and also slightly more expensive), my co-workers had regular plates or wraps, which were more regular sized. I have been quite happy with the burgers served there. Made with a substantial patty of good quality beef, cooked nicely, and too much other stuff (though not bad stuff) piled on. The fries are the same frozen ones that seem ubiquitous in Stockhom. Better quality, thin crispy fries would boost up the experience a notch. This problem is general, not Dick Turpin's alone. I don't get it. Maybe it's a lack of availability of the right type of potatoes- large "baking" potatoes- the ones with the drier crumbly texture. The fish and chips is also good, although it has been a little greasy on one or two occasions. Two large fillets of Cod fried in classic English batter, usually done just about right- crisp golden batter coating on the outside, perfectly cooked fish on the inside. Overall, a nice neighbourhood English style pub with good food and beer and friendly service at fair prices. A ten minute walk from home, so very convenient. I feel fortunate that it's around. PS- Dick Turpin was a notorious Highwayman with an interesting life story.
