Decent lunch place with cheap falafel and halloumi rolls. Not very cozy atmosphere, more of a take away place.

Love the extensive vegan/vegetarian meze menu at this Lebanese restaurant, containing a wide…read morevariety of flavours and textures. However the five dishes we shared weren't all very good, the spicy cauliflower had a distinct burnt flavour, the stuffed mini aubergines were very vinegary and quite awful. The interior is VERY dark and despite the restaurant being quite empty when we arrived 5pm-ish we were seated in the darkest inner room, at the smallest table right at the kitchen and the entrance to the inner room were everyone passed by. The pitabread (very dry) was stuffed in a plastic bag in a basket on every table. When the food arrived it was hart near impossible to fit everything on the small table for two. I did however enjoy the patata brava-like dish, the mushroom/onion/garlic, the beetroots and the passionfruit juice. And I'd love to try the other vegan dishes on the menu, and I'd be happy to give a 4 if the next visit will be more overall satisfying.

We ordered 4 plates between us and that was plenty. Highly recommend the hummus (it really is good) but it doesn't come with pita. The fried cheese rolls were really good but super rich so be wary. We ordered the house red wine and it was actually good, also the service was pretty fast and super friendly!! Great option for a low key dinner.

I joined some friends for a party here, which means that we were in the basement seating area for a…read moreseparate event, but the menu, prices, and employees were all the same - so I can only assume that my experience was similar to that of someone sitting upstairs. Most of the reviews so far for this place have been fairly negative, mostly referring to poor service. I think that either their customer service has improved since then, or we simply have different impressions of what good service is. The girl who served our table was very attentive, was constantly looking for something helpful to do, always asked if we wanted more water or wine, and was friendly, if slightly confused at times. The man in the cash register was not particularly friendly, but I wouldn't say he was unfriendly either - he just did his job. So while the service here in general doesn't get any extra stars from me, I wouldn't subtract any either. The venue itself is great. I have been to Middle Eastern restaurants with very simple décor, and I think it's much more fun when the go all out. Café Corniche is cosy indeed, dark but vibrant with colourful rugs, decorations, and candles. And the food! Oh, the food. We had Menu 2, the 12 mezze dishes with grilled meat after. And the mezze. Oh, the mezze. Simply out of this world! I'm trying to remember everything we had - it seemed like they never stopped bringing dishes. Unlimited pita bread, Ajvar sauce, Batata Bel Kezbara (fried potatoes with coriander dressing), halloumi, Rakkakat bel Jibneh (feta pastries), Sambousek bel Lahme (beef pastries), Jowaneh Mouklieh (marinated chicken wings) spinach pies, baba ghannouj, hummus with tahini, labaneh, dolma, spiced chicken, tabbouleh...You get the idea. You can look at their menu online and see all of the mezze dishes; the majority of them (other than fish) were on our table. It was all delicious and irresistible, and I just kept eating. Bad idea really - because then the main dish platters came out, with lamb kofta, grilled chicken, and fries. Mmm, it was also delicious - but by then I was way too full to eat much of it! Honestly, I ate more at this restaurant than I eat on Thanksgiving. I was painfully full for more than an hour afterwards - which is a testament to my stupidity perhaps, but also how good the food was! Café Corniche is pretty expensive, however. Menu 2 is 200 SEK, and then a single glass of wine will set you back another 70 SEK - so it's certainly not a place you can go every week. But for a special occasion, I recommend it!

Kibbeh not as spiced as I am used to, same with spinach pies. But that may be regional differences. They were willing to split up our checks. All in all good meal.

He had this attitude from the beginning & I thought maybe he is having a bad day but then we asked him about a word on the menu ( that we thought was something we haven't seen before since it was misspelled) he went: this is the correct word & spelling, you use the wrong word & you gotta learn what's correct ( read this with attitude) !! We ordered two different grilled lamb dishes called Beftek ghanam & Ozi. One was supposed to be tenderloin & the other one was lamb pieces with nuts. The tenderloin was quite ok but the other one was cooked with really bad quality meat & the meat smelled kind of funny! It's more like a take away kind of restaurant that charges fancy prices and the Lebanese beer they serve, is not drinkable, oh and last but not least they even charged us for the tab water ( which has never happened to me before in Sweden!!)

Like another yelper wrote, you can tell alot of time and effort is taken in the preparation. The portions are generous too. For an authentic lebanese experience (which generally includes an ambush of appetizers) id go for the meza grill where you get all sorts of appetizers (ALOT) and some grilled meat. Im getting hungry just writing this. On top of good food the service is great and staff are friendly. Will definately make this one of my regular eat out places.
