The eggplant seemed to be deep fried but not greasy, textured with a crisp outer layer and the meat sauce that covered the whole was flavoured just right. Highly recommend everyone to try this. The chef came out to chat, gave us a chance to compliment him and was honoured to have him come out to speak with us. The fried rice and chow mein were ok, had better but could have used some more flavouring. The spicy won ton was just the right amount of spice and the sweet & sour pork was better than normal with good texture & taste balance of the sauce My DH said it was one of the best he has had and that speaks volumes as he has that everywhere! I did appreciate that they have some roast beef, mashed potatoes, and gravy present. This is not something you would bet to find in a Chinese buffet, but it was a treat for me to have something different. The roast beef was very tender, but came off a little salty. A salad bar is also present as well as some fruits and pudding options. The service was excellent. I appreciate that the servers were all very nice, polite, and helpful.
