We requested a full vegan menu with 4 courses and passed appetizers during cocktail hour for 30 people. And wow did they deliver! I am having guests ask me for their recipes and some saying they would consider going vegan if all their meals tasted like this. Our main goal was to serve vegan food to meat eaters and have them not miss the meat. My husband and I could not be more pleased with the way the food turned out. It was a complete success. The service is unmatched. Judy took care of everything and helped with the details that I never would've thought of. I've never planned a wedding before, so it was SO helpful to have her ask more questions ahead of time in order to make sure everything went smoothly. I loved her communication, cheerfulness, and genuine love for what she does. Their serving staff was friendly, helpful, and had a sense of urgency when they were asked for anything. They were engaged in what they were doing and they seemed happy to be serving us. There isn't a thing I would change about the way Chef Michael's Catering handled our wedding reception. Being from Asheville, we're no stranger to food trucks, but Thoroguhfare's truck is beautiful. The color pallette they utilize is a classical black and white, but the accents run throughout the truck, including the covered awning! An awning on a food truck, to shield customers from the sun and rain, what a touch of class. Also, everything was immaculately clean. I couldn't tell if this truck was brand new, or if they give the thing a french restaurant style scrub down at the end of every service. The menu was simple yet well prepared, there were the aforementioned items, as well as Fish Tacos (my favorite) and Shrimp and Grits with a nice large hunk of tilapia. We selected the Fish Tacos. $9 for two tacos is a bit expensive, but I feel like we were paying for the quality of ingredients and the convenience of location. Ordering was quick, payed with a card via Square, and the person operating the window took down our phone number to text us when our order was ready. This is another really pleasant courtesy. Our tacos were prepared quickly and we dove in. The kale was a very interesting choice. It provided a nice green flavor to the tacos, but I missed the crunch of the standard cabbage. It's cool, kale is in, I get it. Kale is probably much healthier than cabbage as well, I know. It's just... I want that bite curve! Aside from me being a real dork about the need for cabbage in fish tacos, they were excellent. The fish was prepared extremely well, and the white sauce was totally on point. While eating my wife mentioned how everything tasted so fresh and healthy, that although we were eating fried fish she didn't feel guilty or bad. Lovely! This is a great food truck, and I hope that Greenville embraces and supports it.

Maybe we are just a one off I don't know but this is what we experienced with Neil and are very disgusted with the way this went.
