They have a really good prices, as…read morelong as you don't mind "surplus" or "pre-owned" toner, meaning most of their product obviously sat in storage or was surplus from another business. But, they were new and the genuine HP product so I was happy. And they were cheaper than I could find online or anywhere else. However, they seemed more interested in sell in bulk than to the average guy, but still were accommodating to me. The biggest drawback is you always have to call in or check their website to see what's available. But otherwise I was happy.

Just when our old but very well kept HP Photosmart C5180 all-in-one decided to konk out on us - I…read morechecked for repair centers with great reviews and came across this place somewhere on the internet. Can't believe I'm the first one on yelp cause these people deserve great reviews across the board!!! They charge 45.00 to look at it without any guarantee they could fix it- why? cause HP doesn't carry spare parts. (only company that has spare parts for all machines despite of year - according to them is Brother). Anyway, I figured I'd risk the 45.00 cause this machine - (new) cost over 450.00 - well, they fixed it!!!! Don't know what they did even though they gave me an invoice and carried it back to the car (btw he got locked out of the office and the wife had to come to the rescue) - he/owner (can't remember his name) was very very nice. Conclusion: highly recommend the place. Check hours of operation and call to make sure they will be open when you plan on taking yours in . It's a small shop and times may vary. The 45.00 is just to look at the machine. Repair and parts if any, is additional. In my case it was 35.00 more- total 80.00 The only negative - they slapped on the lid of the machine a sticker with their name and address on it- Lopsided to top it off!!

I left the old SSD at this store, paid a $42.80 deposit to have it checked with whatever tools are needed to recover the data and did not hear back for weeks despite many promises for a weekly update. About a month later I disputed the charge with my bank and then I received a SMS message presumably from this store (with no sender name and no name of the store in the message) basically saying that nothing could be done with my old SSD, but without providing any proof of what was done and no report from whatever software was used to analyze the SSD. The bank (Wells Fargo) forced me to pay the $42.80 fee just because I authorized it but I never got any proof of what was done with my money. Stay away from J Electronics & Repair in downtown Miami! It is a scam.
