I contacted Kevin Yarbough (Owner of RamCom LLC) after a neighbor recommended him. I had already had 3 other contractors out and received quotes ranging from $6,000-$30,000. I choose to go with Kevin because his communication was superb. We began discussions on 07/03/2012 and spent the next 7 weeks conversing via email and by phone to iron out the details. He spent a great deal of time going over the layout and design of the bathroom. I could not decide how large to make the shower and where to put the claw foot tub I wanted. He came over and drew it out on the sub-floor to help me visualize my bathroom. They began work 08/27/2012 after I had ordered all of the necessary fixtures. What I absolutely loved about working with Kevin was his attention to detail and ability to aid me in design decisions. When I had concerns he would discuss the different options with me and how much they would affect the total cost of the project. They worked diligently until the project was completed 09/21/2012. The remodel took a little longer than expected due to the shower plumbing that was changed. We had them change the single shower head to 4 body jets, a rain shower head out of the ceiling and a hand held shower head. We also had two niches put in and a bench seat. The plumbing for our tub had to be moved as well to the new location of our claw foot tub. They installed a new double vanity, faucets, and fixtures. We added three small dimmable lights and they replaced the existing light fixtures as well as the electrical outlets. They made a full wall in the bathroom into a half wall, did all of the drywall/concrete board and painted the bathroom. We also had a rather detailed tile job on the floor and walls of the bathroom. Kevin and Joe showed up on time, respected my home and always cleaned up before they left. I have worked with many contractors over the years and Kevin is by far the best. I particularly liked the fact that I paid them for labor only and was able to order my own fixtures. Whenever I am in need of any remodeling in the future Kevin will be my first and last call.

Since she's a member of Angie's List, she volunteered to look me up a few reliable plumbers in the area. The first name she gave me was Mr. Jackson from Reliable Home Improvements. I called him on a Monday and spoke to him about possible resolutions to my plumbing issue. We decided that Thursday morning between 9-9:30am would be the perfect time for him to stop by and inspect my issue. I remember that I specifically asked him if I needed to call him back to confirm my appointment with him later that day. He said, "no, I have you on my calendar, but if their is a problem, I will call you back." I thanked him and told him I'll see him Thursday. Well, Thursday rolls around and I didn't hear from, nor did I see Mr. Jackson. Extremely unprofessional! I worked from home that day, so thank God I didn't have to take off, but it was still an inconvenience. Why on earth is it so hard to find honest, competent and reliable plumbers? This is a give and take situation. I pay for a service, you fix the problem...plain and simple. I wasn't asking to fix the problem for free, I was a paying customer! Moreover, if he wasn't available, a simple call to reschedule would've been the proper thing to do. Two weeks to the day and I still haven't heard back from this company. Horrible customer service! Take it from me and don't even bother contacting this company. My sister suggested that I call him back, but I refused because it's plenty of plumbers in the area that are willing and able to assist me. I found one too, he fixed my issue lickety split and was very professional! One and DONE!

The project took about 2-3 months due to black custom cabinetry which took 2 months to receive (attributed to COVID) or the project would've taken a month. The guys came in to provide a no pressure estimate and they weren't priced too high or low which is generally a good sign. I always avoid contractors who provide too cheap a price or shoot for the moon (#GME). All in all, I've asked them for an estimate on my bathrooms after being so impressed with their 1) responsiveness 2) craftsmanship 3) attention to details and lastly 4) honesty As one example, one part of the counter top install there was a slight ridge which the guys noticed. The sub contractors attempt to install countertops wasn't perfect and I could barely tell but Kelvin/Jose held the subcontractor responsible to replace the piece. They removed a wall which wasn't load bearing, but we decided to install a 23' beam to be safe. Installed cabinets, enclosed the refrigerator, moved the sink into the corner and added waterfall countertops to the entire "island" area. Pictures speak for their craftsmanship.
