The teaching staff and directors genuinely care about the spiritual, mental, and physical wellbeing of EVERY child who attends the academy. They pride themselves on truly getting to know each child to ensure each student fully understands the material and can be successful in all subjects. They believe in inspiring and motivating each student to reach his or her potential. Teachers effectively communicate student's progress so parents do not have to wonder or worry how their student is performing at school.

My husband and I have the pleasure of watching first hand of the quality if care given to the children and the manners these kids display by creating their online videos. In our one in one interviews we were able to hear the parents responses and how much this school has changed their lives for the better not only in academics but from the perspective to make strong families They are uniquely outstanding and most definitely stand out among Sugar Land schools and Houston alike to choose from that give lifelong memories. If you shopping for schools, do yourself a favor and stop by, take a tour and/or ask the parents/kids if their experience! Oh, and see the website for more videos and social media

As a parent, choosing a daycare and trusting others with your child can be scary. I have to say…read morechoosing Village Tree has been nothing but rewarding. In my search for a daycare for my son there was a few things important to me. 1) First impression/ facility up keep. Ms.Christian (Principle) was very friendly and very bright. She was thorough on onboarding and what to expect. You can tell she cares deeply about the children. This facility is probably the cleanest daycare I've ever seen, and smells great. Ms. Burks (Assistant Principle) took care of the actual on boarding, and made the process very easy. She is very bright as well and they make a great team. 2) Program /curriculum-They have a schedule for every subject, your child will be constantly engaging. They have many sensory projects. 3) School environment- The school environment is very positive, open, and warm. Also, serves as a second home to my son .(he loves it) The staff is great, and they are more than willing to address any concerns. 4) Meals- The school provides freshly cooked meals for your child and even have vegetarian options. You will receive monthly Newsletters that explains what your child will eat and learn. The building is very spacious. Overall, choosing Village has been the best decision for my son's security and developmental growth. If you are in search of a daycare for your child, I highly recommend Village Tree!

Ms. V and Ms. Lala are dearly loved by him as well. I am so happy that we found this school. I cannot recommend this school enough. I love walking into the door and being greeted by Ms. Monica and Ms. Katie. The teachers and staff of this school are so supportive of the kids and parents. When we were going through a remodel due to Hurricane Harvey, the staff and teachers supported us during this difficult time by helping my son adjust and understand. We were even able to let him attend school on some days he otherwise wouldn't have due to Spring Break (we were on the school schedule, not the Full Day). Additionally, there are many opportunities to learn more about Montessori education at the after school seminars they offer. During the school festivals and parties, you can see just how strong and welcoming this school's community is. We have had a blast at every event. They are constantly improving the grounds and school equipment. Just recently, they added shade pavilions over the playgrounds. The indoor and outdoor areas are always spotlessly clean and tidy. I love the outdoor play areas; they have many green spaces that invite children to look around and play. My son is enrolled for the next year to attend in the Primary Class and we are so excited to see what he will be doing next!

It is with great disappointment to give this negative review because my son was hurt emotionally at…read morethis school. Teacher Ms. Aparna was harsh, rude, suspicious, and even openly discriminatory against his race & gender. She talked down to him assuming he did not understand when the adults' behavior was wrong. But he did and he told us verbatim things that were said to him, including "Ms. Aparna is not happy with me." Furthermore, during nap time my son reported the Aide hit him and other students with pillows if they were not falling asleep. She also would wake them up by hitting them on the face with wet paper towels. When I reported this and requested to observe the live feed video from their office, Director Ms. Monica and I both saw these actions taking place during nap time. The owner met with me and watched the recording with me stating this was against company policy. However, like what Director Ms. Monica said, she reiterated that "the two staff members had been working there for years and she would just need to train them better. They do not let their employees go which is why they have had them in place for over a decade." Can you imagine these abusive actions happening to your own child? Would you call CPS? I was so devastated, I could not bare that process and just took my son out of the school. I caution you, do pop up visits, ask questions about the staff and the accountability from their managers when inappropriate adults behaviors take place. My son recovered after going to a better school and is now thriving but keep in mind, yours might not. Don't take the risk!

This is the first daycare we looked into because it's been around since my husband and I were children growing up in the neighborhood. We're incredibly grateful we toured, as Ms. Petra and Ms. Pamela were very welcoming and informative in letting us know what their programs offer as well as what to expect with this being the first time our son would be without us. They were very transparent about rates/policies and gave us a bunch of info to take home and review. They offer a free trial day where you can bring your child for a few hours to see if it's the right fit before officially enrolling them. We decided it would be a good place to try and the schedule we chose was within our budget. It took a few weeks for him to acclimate, but now he's excited to go to school and actively participates in group activities. We can absolutely tell that he enjoys his class & teachers, as he's been coming out of his shell. Everyone is very friendly and the facility in general is very clean and organized. The teachers keep you updated on your child throughout the day (what they ate/diaper checks/activities) via an app and you also have camera access to your child's classroom in case you want to check in. Each class is separated by age groups and the student to teacher(s) ratio is very reasonable. My son's classroom has circle time, several developmental areas (music/pretend play/building blocks/math/art/language & literacy/independent play), access to an outdoor play area/splash & water play area/gardening area, and healthy meals made fresh every day. The directors and front desk ladies are very friendly & communicative. They're great at keeping parents updated on upcoming classes your child can participate in (like dance/yoga), anything to be aware of at the school (policy reminders, class registration deadlines, illness prevention protocol reminders, etc.), reminders of upcoming fun activities to be prepared for like Splash Day/Picnic Lunch Day/holiday activities, etc. Overall our experience with La Petite in Sugar Land has been wonderful. You can tell that the teachers genuinely care about the kids and parents can feel at ease knowing their children are in great hands. It's been a joy to watch our son come home doing new things he's learned at school. He's becoming more social and has even started progressing in his speech since starting here. We highly recommend this location!

The activities are age appropriate and geared towards development; and fun for the kids! The facility is clean and well kept-I have never smelled anything other than food (which my son loves) or cleaning products. There are opportunities for extracurricular activities and programming for parents (which I intended to take advantage of but my schedule just didn't allow). Parental well being is encouraged by parent's night out where the staff graciously extend their day and allow us to be able to have kid free time to use as we please. Each day we are greeted by staff, and I have not had one negative encounter. Everyone is always positive and kind to myself and my son. I have seen him progress and grow in our short time here, and for that I am thankful. Security and safety are a priority, with codes and diligent staff who monitor incoming and outgoing persons. I love that I am able to check in on my son via the camera system, and also receive updates regularly during the day via the app from teachers. I can truly say that this is one of the best day care experiences I have had. Being a first time parent comes with a lot of uncertainty and all of the staff at this location have made me feel secure and go about my work days with ease knowing that my toddler is in good hands. Thank you to every single one of the staff here! :) Please consider sending your babies here, they will be in great hands, and I believe it will be a great experience.
