Apparently they have been at this location 14yrs but the school has been around for over 40yrs. Thank God for the power of social media because I saw an ad on my Facebook feed abt their daily lunches. When I plugged in the address I was pleasantly surprised that my job is only 5min from there. I stepped inside and just absolutely loved the whole warmth of the environment. It felt so welcoming. The front manager Charlotte is absolutely amazing. So sweet, personable and engaging. I ordered the jambalaya bowl special and it was delish. Also got an apple cheese danish for a dessert along with a sweet tea to drink. Everything was great, and so glad that this place is now on my radar. Will definitely be going back again and again.

I'd heard good things about their cooking classes and catering, so got curious about whether they offer smaller à la carte options. Lucky me, they do! I got an individual side of the roasted butternut squash and it was delicious. Smoky with a touch of sweetness topped with fresh herbs. Healthy home cooking without the work? That's a win!

All basket ingredients were different in each basket (different proteins, veggies, extras etc) and the pantry ingredients that were useable were VERY limited. I would go back to experience one of the classes, but not ever for the Chopped challenge.

My son has done this camp for 3 years and really enjoys it. Having a brother who is a professional…read morechef, I feel this camp is the closest camp to chef school out there. Students have the option of baking camp (they bring home daily baked goods) or cooking camp. My son did the later. They learn food prep and clean up, how to properly sauté, chop, hold knives etc. They prep the daily lunch that is served for all the students. The bakery group usually sends home daily baked goods with this group in exchange for lunch. The last day parents are invited to feast on all the recipes that the students learned to make throughout the week.

My daughter did this camp and thought it was a waste of time. Unlike other cooking camps where kids…read moremake their own dishes, this is a line cook approach so she would only do a small part of a dish like cutting onions or kneading dough. She said she didn't get to actually cook anything. The instructors cooked which defeats the purpose of a class like this. The foods the classes prepared became lunch for everyone but then my daughter's class had to clean all the pots, pans, silverware, dishes etc. They spent an hour and a half washing dishes daily! For a $600 camp I did not expect that. The students were not allowed to bring home any leftover either (in the savory food camp). I can't recommend this camp.

After purchasing a Christmas cookie event as a birthday gift for my sister a few months ago. I was…read moreexcited to do one with my husband. I booked the Conversation Heart Cookie, aka "Creator's" conversation heart cookie class lol, which was emphasized at the beginning and twice during the class. The class came with 6 cookies to decorate and a beverage from the Hopfly Brewery. Laura and the ladies taught us how to put filler as a background on the cookie and other neat little tricks to do. The icing was really tasty and went well with my mango passion fruit cheesecake blender drink. I think the class and brewery was a good idea. But, I honestly did not like the fact that I paid $60 for this event that was diluted by the highlight of "The Creator's " being on set for free with a guest. I think there should have been a separate private class for them vs the way it was done. I get this is the New way to spread the word about your business. But it should not out shadow your paying guest. Being mindful is big in my book.

The instructor ( Chef Sonia) was energetic, knowledgeable, patient, and made the class enjoyable for cooks of all skill levels. The highlight was definitely tasting the final creations. Which was SO delicious!! If you're looking for a fun, interactive way to improve your cooking or simply enjoy an evening out, I highly recommend taking a class at Sur La Table. It's an experience worth savoring!

When we arrived the location was immaculate having a spacious sun room area for us to sit and dine after finishing with the preparations. Our group of 10 was handled with extra care allowing each person to mix, measure, and pour ingredients then crafting our dough into perfect shaped noodles. The arrangements were clean and well stocked and amazingly delicious. It was a true hands on fun experience; I would try again and high recommend those foodies that love to get their hands dirty while learning from two wonderful experts about the history of Ramen. You must try the egg that was marinated for 24 hours that in itself was a treat, and defiantly try the spicy sauce. When you leave you will be full with a smile thinking I am glad a tried this.

I really enjoy the language classes here since all of the classes are 3-4 people which allows for more individual attention from the teacher. I was a little hesitant when signing up for classes initially since there aren't a lot of reviews online for the language classes. I was pleasantly surprised after taking their Level 1 class, I was able to start forming basic sentences in French. The classes aren't like your high school courses where you have tests every week an are penalized for not doing your homework, this definitely makes it a more relaxing learning experience.
