She was willing to work with my availability which is a big plus because I have a busy schedule. The class was straight forward and we went over first aid, watched videos, went over questions and she took the time to answer all my questions. After, we went over CPR and it was nice to see the mannequin that connects to a smart device and tells you if you are doing it correctly or not. I will be honest, I wanted to cut the face off like Dwight in Office. I restrained myself! ! All in all, she is great and you can tell that she has a lot of experience. I highly encourage anyone to attend this office if you need/want to get certified. You won't be disappointed!

The best part of taking the classes at 411 is the trainer, Kiki! She helps make the almost 3 hours (for each class) go by rather quickly and has some hilarious stories about personal experiences that keep it fun! They have all kinds of things you may need for your home/car/etc that can help prevent accidents from happening and then give you the training you need in case they do! We were told we could pick someone to get their certification to help with our child and it would take a week or two to do so and then got told by every single person we talked to in the center something different. They told me they could get me an RBT asap and we have been without one ALL summer long now. We were suppose to have BCBA that does in person 1-2x a month and she stopped responding and coming and haven't had anyone visit or see our daughter in over a month now. And to top it all off no-one emails you back, calls you back, and our chosen caregiver is STILL NOT certified. DO NOT EVER USE THEM!

It is impossible to teach them to be safe without getting their heads in the water. No goggles are allowed during lessons, this is for safety. All students must be able to open their eyes and determine which way is up. Each lesson consists of 25 minutes of instruction and five minutes of “free time.” However, if your student is having a difficult day they may work the full entire 30 minutes. Please remember much of what we teach your child will be learning for the first time. Some kids struggle with one or more of the safety elements, but teaching and practicing that skill each day is very important to help them overcome their fear and help keep them safe. Your child may be very uncomfortable putting their face in the water but it is our job to help overcome those fears. It can be very difficult for parents to watch their child be scared, but please remember we are here to help your child become safe and have FUN! Swimming is a great activity for all kids to enjoy, and I want all of my students to enjoy it by being safe. All teachers have CPR training.
