Kristen, the person I saw when I first walked at the front desk was totally friendly, knowledgeable about insurance as well as having a sweet smile which is always nice to see when you're feeling ill. I was called back in less than 10 minutes of being registered. Bianca RT took my vitals, went over my chart to make sure it was correct and updated my information. She's exceptional at her job and extremely attentive while listening to why I had come in. Less than 10 minutes later I saw Jennifer Vasquez FNP who was AMAZING!!! I wish she could be my PCP. She didn't rush me out like 99% of doctors tend to do, she actually listened to what I was saying (unlike my current PCP), she even recommended a walk in dermatologist clinic in Corpus Christi and sent a referral to them for me. Seriously, why can't all health care provider's be like this? I've had terrible luck in Beeville with doctors. In short I will just say I freaking LOVE Twin Fountains Urgent Care in Beeville, TX!

This is the most disorganized group.I have literally been asked to do something different every time I have been here and the "manager" always says this is how we have always done it....ahhhh!

UNHELPFUL. Waste of money, at least with my visit. Made the same mistake, thinking this urgent care…read morecenter would be different. I tried to go to another local clinic before this one but I was essentially stonewalled by all the red tape that places like these seem to have. I made sure to check the website before calling and still, it claimed they do labs, xrays, etc. I felt ill, loss of appetite, and some other concerning symptoms and if you're traveling (and maybe even as a resident) it can be INCREDIBLY difficult to just get seen by a doctor/primary care provider if you don't happen to have one.... And as I've come to realize, it takes SO LONG! One local clinic (Community Action) has a MONTH long wait just for new patients. And another in corpus won't see any new patients until July!!! (It is currently March). Unless I have to be half-dead going to the ER, can no one see or help me?! I've read the Alice hospital reviews too and honestly it's just... highly concerning.... I almost feel like going to the hospital might be the only way to get seen sooner, but honestly it might just end up being just like this visit here at NextCare x.x they'll probably not take me seriously, I'll have to wait a million years, or they may not have the proper resources/equipment to help me! Since I moved from TX some time ago, I have an out of state ID and that alone is reason enough for certain local clinics to not help me or apply for certain programs they offer, and it sucks! My symptoms seemed to be worsening and persisting and I've tried to call, visit, and look up so many local clinics like this one and nothing is happening! So far, I've only been able to get some labs done... (at a different local clinic in Freer). it's such a hassle if I do even get lucky enough to get a "office visit" or whatever. Sorry if this is off track. Anyway, at this place I thought maybe they could do labs (since the website mentioned it) or maybe some other tests and that a doctor there could tell me what was wrong with me at least. But nope!!! I pretty much just came in, described my symptoms to at least two different people, and when I did finally see the doctor, she did very basic tests like taking my blood pressure and temp. I don't remember what else, but I think she measured weight too. She was one of the people I told my symptoms, but after those basic tests she essentially did nothing else but tell me to go to a primary care doctor and take suggested products, like two different over the counter meds and multivitamins. If I had known it was going to be like that, I wouldn't have gone!

This place is as simple as registering online and getting a text message 15 minutes prior to your estimated check in time. As I mentioned this place is brand new which it is super clean as well and service is fast. They take pretty much all insurances and they provide lab services as well as radiology services to. The joy of checking in and not having to wait in a waiting room with so many other patients in front of you is a joy in itself.

I have been on a particular medication for over 20 years. The doctor convinced me to change meds. The instructions that he gave me were if after two weeks you prefer the previous medication that you have been on call my office and will fall in a prescription of the first medication. That is exactly what happened.. Except some nurse or administrator failed to review my file and instead of ordering 200 mg per day. They ordered 50. I noticed a mistake. I am unable to get it corrected. I tried to log a complaint, and I was told this won't solve the problem. Well the problem is Well Med. How these organizations get licensed in state is beyond believe. They provide sub-standard administration assistance to their patients. MY WARNING GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

The phone is always answered almost immediately after the welcome message. Everytime I call, they are professional and almost immediately able to answer my questions or, in THREE separate cases, see me on an emergency basis (who does this???). The Techs, the NP, the Doctor, all know their jobs and do them perfectly. Now, as to Dr. John Root, the current doctor at this clinic. He is the BEST general practitioner I've ever met (or even heard of). He reads your case before he sees you. He prioritizes the issues, and addresses them one by one. He sometimes guesses about possible solutions (he's almost always right anyway), but he's not afraid to say "I'm not sure". His 'bedside manner' is not empathetic, but more "I know what i'm doing. Listen to me because I've taken the time to listen to you". He's a good man, and a good doctor. I wish all doctors were like him.
