That was FEBRUARY 25, 2026. Today is APRIL 14, 2026 and that referral HAS NEVER BEEN SENT. Even though last week when I called for the third time about this issue I was told by a lady there that she had called a facility and sent the referral last Wednesday. I called the facility today and they didn't know who I was. If you have parents or older relatives watch over them and verify what Gonzaba is doing. I don't trust them anymore even though they say "Aqui para Ti".... lol

She goes on to say we texted you to be here prior 15 min mind you my appointment was at 10:20 I got there at that time thinking oh I have everything pre filled and we should go on without any problems. Nope lady sad too bad you need to make another appointment the doctor is already working with another patient! Excuse me how do you just proceed to go on without checking with the one that had her appointment? Definitely not professional and a waste of time. There was no type of solution, she was able to see another patient earlier which meant she would have that persons time freed up to see another. Instead of taking care of the problem and offering another slot for that day she just said nope you need to make another appointment. Let and will never be coming back. Professionalism is a must especially when dealing with medical. We need to have more people that care instead of people that have no hearts. R Family Medical Group is the absolute best!…read more I usually go to their Huebner location but they were fully booked there, so they sent me to their Nogalitos location. This office is a little older than the other one, but the quality in care is the same. Everyone I got to talk to during my time there was very attentive and took the time to listen to my needs. My appointment was with Ms. Ashlei Wooten and she was absolutely wonderful. I usually see Ms. Candace at the Huebner location, but I am glad to found a second nurse practitioner I can trust and that cares about your well-being. If you are looking for a new family doctor, I would highly recommend R Family Medical Group!

So I am SOL with Obamacare and medical coverage at work. My folks (who run the senior center route…read moreevery week) recommended I go to the Wesley, a place down the block from where I grew up. I spent a few summers there injuring my wrist playing volleyball as a kid and wow they have changed. They underwent a total upgrade of the facility and added a new building and nicer parking lot. They offer low-cost medical care and after two appointments and some paperwork later I qualify! It's a huge relief for me who has always had medical and dental through work. They also offer summer camp and free after-school care for the nearby elementary school. I may switch my daughter to their afterschool program but they only go until 5pm I believe. I'm sure there are senior services as well as counseling and parenting classes. If you're in a medical/childcare bind or need help and don't know where to go, give them a call. If they can't help they will refer you to a place that can.

I was a patient at this clinic over ten years ago. I saw Michelle Sanchez, who is a physician assistant there at the clinic. I had scheduled an appointment because I was displaying symptoms of a concussion. She did not examine me for symptoms of a concussion. She gave me a prescription for Midrin, which I later discovered was just for migraines. Which explained why it did nothing to ease the pain from my concussion. I was told to follow up later. Well, my symptoms worsened. To the point where I had to go to the ER during New Year's day in 2011. Where I was diagnosed with having a concussion. At the follow-up visit with PA Sanchez, I explained to her how my symptoms worsened and that I had gone to the ER on New Year's. Instead of helping, she gaslighted me during the visit, stating that my symptoms could not be that bad. That it was just a headache. I had gone to the ER because my symptoms (headache, nausea, and dizziness) became unbearable. She said to me, "What do you want me to do? You're on Carelink, there's nothing I can do." Keep in mind that the office offered its services to patients that had Carelink at the time. The office accepted and billed the assistance program. So, yes, she could have done something. She chose not to and refused to do her job. Every patient deserves respect and care despite their financial situation. After I read the reviews, I see that nothing has changed as far as the care given by the medical professionals and staff at the office.

I would avoid this place. I went here one time and will never return. First of all, the wait was…read moreINSANE. I waited hours to see a doctor (with an appointment). The office then billed me over a year later, and it was the first bill I received. From the dates on the bill, it looked like my insurance denied part of the claim for some reason, but they never tried reprocessing it until over a year later! I didn't even have the same insurance company anymore. At least when I called them out on this, they told me I didn't owe the charge since it was their oversight.

Yes I struggle with anxiety, but no anxiety wasn't fully the issue. But when I saw Dr. Dandan, he actually listened to my concerns, and if he was unsure, he wrote up the referrals that I needed (as a primary care doctor should do... my husband's in medical school, and one thing we've learned was that primary care docs don't receive a high level of training in every aspect of health - that's why we have specialists. The body's complex and too much for one man to know everything!). Then my husband went in. He's also seen other doctors before, and we were both very pleased with how thorough Dr. Dandan was in his exam. It's been even better care than other doctor's we've seen. Dr. Dandan is absolutely a 10/10 with his kindness and professionalism. The only reason why it lost a couple of stars, though, is because the front desk is cold/doesn't seem to want to be there. I feel very uncomfortable asking them questions, because they don't respond very kindly. It's like they expect me to know how their clinic works and makes me feel stupid for asking (one specific question I asked was if they do vaccinations there - I genuinely had no idea because I thought most Primary Care clinics do have them from my understanding). Then there are also some passive aggressive notes lying around the clinic. But if you can get past the front desk and the passive aggressive notes about payment, how patients should have a good attitude, etc., Dr. Dandan is great and I highly recommend!

Jose Ortiz, the doctor I had is great…read more Some of the staff I worked with is not. Dr. Ortiz gave me the right meds just by listening and then looking at the ER papers. I had a doctor at the ER that with all the tests done and the same info I shared, he did not give me the right antibiotic. I had a serious infection and high fever for a week and he doubled the antibiotics I had before I went to the ER... yes, and was charged 1k after insurance. Dr. Ortiz Saved another trip to the emergency room or something worse. I would take a good doctor even if it meant having to deal with some issues with the staff, it might just be uncomfortable to be in that position if you are in need of efficient staff. If you are, the manager resolved my issues when they were escalated, she was kind and made sure everything was okay.
