My principle experiences of The Beetle and Wedge are of The Boathouse Restaurant.
This is a beautiful old building right in the Thames on the site of the old ferry crossing. For the literary among you - this is Three Men in a Boat Jerome K Jerome territory.
The menu change regularly and so are a nice mix of seasonal / daily produce. The wine list is small but good.
But best of all, and the reason I keep returning, is the al fresco dining in the summer. Eating great food, drinking great wine, while sitting on the bansk fo a beautiful stretch of The Thames is as good as it gets!
